The process of knowing how to find the top keywords for your Adsense ads (one of the top income opportunities) is not direct. Finding and implementing high return, low competition keywords in your ads really is the trick for making Adsense payoff big.

You will observe that the higher the average CPC, the likelihood of a higher CPC for the 2nd - 8th positions will be greater too. Other than having higher average CPC, make sure that the CPC does not drop off significantly after the 3rd position because that may decrease your chances of getting high click earnings as an Adsense publisher.

Step 3 Next, estimate the 1st - 8th position CPC values with the many tools available over the internet. The CPC values of each position will be estimated by the tools and you will be able to get a good idea of the CPC value after the first position. This dramatically helps your analysis for picking the most returnable keywords and, thus, the top income opportunities. When you see that the CPC values barely deviated from each other and from the first position, you know you have a returnable keyword.

Step 4 See how Adsense ads are positioned by using Google search with your keyword and seeing what Adsense ads appear, and in what order. When advertisers vary, the advertiser may not have chosen the ‘Adwords for Content’ mode and the keyword will not generate Adsense ads. This spells poor returns (and bad income opportunities) from that keyword.

Step 6 Finally, you will need to create more traffic. Use the keywords in your Adsense ads that scored well from all the above evaluation if you have decided to get increased viewings using the Adwords approach. Then, use lower cost per click keywords in your Adwords ads. You can get your return by subtracting the cost of the click you pay on your Adwords word from the earnings you get from the click you get on your Adsense words.

When you opt for SEO methods to generate site traffic, be sure to use keywords with high KEI values as these are the top income opportunities. The KEI ration is how many searches for a keyword are done divided by the number of competing sites with the same word. When you combine this search engine optimization method with the highest scores using the suggestions above, you will get the maximum return and the choice keywords.
