”Neesh” or “nitch”…regardless of how you pronounce it, niche marketing is a powerful form of marketing on the internet.

Getting into one specific area of interest and capitalising on it by any means possible…this is niche marketing. The further you dive into a niche, the less competition you’ll have and so therefore, the more money you will make. The trickiest part is finding that nook that few other people have already populated.

Here’s an example, I’ve just done a search on Google. I looked up the keyword “dolphin”, which results in 31,700,000 sites competing for that keyword! Um, that’s no good! Now, what about “fluro green dolphin”? That’s a bit better, 2,210 this time. But now, “fluro green dolphin suitcase”, that gives me a much friendlier number with only 268.

Ok, I’m not suggesting you go and market fluro green dolphin suitcase!…but hopefully you get the idea. You want to find a niche that has the smallest amount of competition. Ideally, you want to avoid having to jump over thousands and thousands of other sites in the search engine rankings.

So, you’ve found your niche, now what do you do? Answer: Everything and Anything you can!

Attack your niche from as many angles as possible! Get the word out! Market, market, market it! Make videos, write blogs, do press releases, jump on all the social networks. Your goal is to create an online presence as fast as you can.

Things can change super fast on the net…I’m sure you are well aware of that. Don’t miss your opportunity…Grab your niche and run!

Creating an online presence can be achieved in quite a short amount of time. Have an action plan, set yourself schedules, and work steadily and consistently. You want to avoid sprinting too fast in the beginning, only to find yourself exhausted and out of breath, come a couple days or weeks time.

Start a blog and write at least 3 times per week. Some of your posts can be videos. Write things that are interesting and useful…give your viewers and customers good value. Make your posts 200-400 words in length. Don’t include your business or backlinks on all your posts. Try and avoid appearing too pushy, like you’re trying to sell all the time.

Do a couple videos per week, and get them up on all the various video media sites. Write at least 2 articles per week (writing one daily is preferable) and whiz them around to all the articles directories. Better yet, research companies that will scatter them around for you. This will save you an unbelievable amount of time.

There’s a mammoth amount of ways to do niche marketing and to advertise your niche out there in the big world web. Niche marketing can be extremely profitable, but you need to do some research first. Take a bit of time to develop your niche marketing strategy. As I mentioned earlier…the most challenging part will be discovering your niche, your “neesh”, your “nitch” in the first place!

Wishing you Great Success and Happiness, Graeme Stuart YourSuccessNetBiz.com
