Making money at home in an online business can be profitable and you cans also have a lot of fun doing it, if you get off to the right start. You can use plastic corrugated signs which are put on metal “H” stands, these are sometimes referred to as bandit signs, I’m sure you’ve seen them during political campaigns. Use a simple message “Make Money in a Home Business, 1 234 567 8901″. You want to choose a busy intersection where a lot of people will see the sign. You can have these made for as little as $2.00 each if you buy 50 or more at one time.

Newspapers are relatively low cost if you consider the number of people you reach per dollar invested. One drawback is you may not be targeting your market. Choose newspapers with a mid sized circulation, below 200,000, and select a good income area.

You might decide to use magazine advertising. This is relatively low cost and can be very powerful. Keep in mind that a lot of people don’t throw magazines away for a long time so they have a longer time for people to see your ad and respond.
