They get mad about that and instead of making an effort to actually promote something of value, like a blog telling people how to do something they’ve just mastered, they’ll charge you $25 to read their special report on “What Your Upline Won’t Tell You!” Ann Sieg fans beware!

At this point, I also feel that it is crucial to mention that promoting your own products is probably not a good idea if you’re new to internet marketing, or if you haven’t made any money from it yet!

Selling your own products takes a lot more time, energy and money and as a newbie you’ll be hard pressed to create something that people will actually want to buy, so take note! It’s not the same as producing a video on time management.

A lot of people get all emotional at this point and think that something’s great because they created it!

Don’t trust yourself until you have made some real money! You’ll be thanking me later when your experience promoting others’ products puts you in a position where you can sell an E-book and some Recordings for $97 and sell 100 to your list just by sending out one email. Your list will grow naturally if you follow the steps provided in this email. You’ll also feel confident charging such a price because you’ll know that the value you’re providing is worth FAR more than $97!

Ideally you would pick two programs that you would feel comfortable talking about in depth. Companies that you can be passionately and genuinely enthusiastic about. This point is crucial because your job is going to involve you talking about them A LOT, so do your research and take your time until you find something that suits you personally. This is crucial because some people will want to be in a high ticket program ($1000 commissions) and others will have a negative attitude to making high ticket commissions because they don’t have money and they can’t imagine themselves or anyone else having any! Branding yourself makes people feel like they know you. When they feel like they know you, they trust you, and selling is all about building and keeping trust. You’ll need to deliver valuable content to them consistently, beginning with a free email course that you can set up via your auto-responder. There is a lot of debating going on about how often you should mail your list and I would recommend no more than once a day, as less is more sometimes – especially if you find yourself doing it for the sake of doing it! Have a day off here and there to keep your messages and videos useful to your customers. My motto is: “If it doesn’t give people value as soon as they read it, whether emotionally, spiritually, physically or financially, then DON’T send it! As long as you’re delivering valuable content that they can put into practice immediately in some way, shape or form, then they’ll always be happy to receive emails from you :-)

Then you can get started with your videos, articles and an E-book or free report that you have the rights to or have written so that you can offer it to people on your capture page. You can get one from clickbank if you’re stuck. When they sign up to your auto-responder they get to download it. This helps build your value and their trust in you. That way, they will hopefully want to buy from you later, which is the whole point! So it’s worth making an effort here my friends :-)

The very first thing you need to do is set up a capture page with your name as the url (ie: the website address), and get a good one that will let you set up lots of sub domains because you’ll need lots of them!

Just be yourself in your videos and let your true personality shine through :-) At the end of the video you’ll be telling them about what training you have to offer with what programs and why signing up with your team will benefit them more than any other team within the companies you’re promoting. Really emphasize what you feel YOUR unique selling point is.

3) Once you’ve done that, you want to make sure that you provide training that you hold personally AT LEAST once a week at vereconference or wherever you can for FREE, in addition to any training your group provides. This helps to brand you as a leader and even if you don’t feel like talking on your own for an hour, people will type questions into the box where they can communicate with the lead speaker by typing and that will give you a constant stream of relevant topics to discuss if your mind isn’t full of them already! Which it should be by now if you’re learning from all the successful marketers that are out there! If you think that you don’t know enough people or have enough people in your downline to do this DONT WORRY! Just do it and THEY WILL COME! It may take some time but eventually word will travel and you will be packed! Have an open mic to make it easier if there are less people.

1.) Plan Ahead

Listen, if you don’t know where you’re going with your writing, than your readers don’t stand a chance. Before you sit down and put fingers to keyboard, think about what you want to say and what the logical flow of your thoughts should be. Your writing should be orderly and have direction. If you’re looking for a great starting place, try this simple adage: Tell people what you’re going to tell them, tell them, and then tell them what you’ve told them. It’ll help lend focus to your thoughts.

2.) Know your Audience

It seems like common sense, but you’d be surprised. For example, if you know that your travel site appeals to young urban professionals, writing a blog post about retirement travel is probably not going to go over well. Think about your idea and spin it: Maybe your blog post could be about where to send your retired parents on vacation. Find a way to make your new product or service appeal to your existing audience.

3.) The K.I.S.S. Principle

In other words – Keep it Simple Stupid (Hey, don’t blame me, I didn’t invent the acronym). Did you know that most newspapers write their stories for a grade seven education level? Just because you know what you’re talking about when you mention a BOGOFF (Buy One Get One For Free) or E&OE (Errors & Omissions Excepted); doesn’t mean that the people reading your blog do. Explain what your acronyms mean before you lose all your readers with your technical talk.

5.) Mix it up!

Sometimes copy can feel really stale and boring, but you can’t quite figure out why. It’s often due to the overuse of certain words in your copy, so take a look over what you’ve written. If you see that every sentence starts with the word ‘the’ then you need to make a change. This also applies to words in a paragraph, if you’ve described something as ‘good’ four times in the past three sentences it’s time to pick a new adjective.

6.) Use Awesome Words Sparingly

Being overly descriptive with your writing is not necessarily a good thing. If you were writing a novel, sure, there might be room for more flowery turns of phrase. Web copy though, should be more simple and direct. Don’t over illustrate what you’re trying to say, just say it, otherwise you’ll lose your readers.

7.) Text Not

It doesn’t matter how busy you are; text speak does not belong in proper copy. Take the time to write out each of the words you want to say, otherwise you’ll turn off your readers. Because, not only is text speak annoying, it can also be hard to understand, so resist the urge, kwim? (Oops!)

8.) Slash

Once you’ve finished writing your blog or article, save and close the file and walk away from it. After you’ve taken a little bit of time (20 – 30 minutes) come back to it and start editing. Here’s what will happen – if you follow enough people, many of them will follow you back. At that point, send them a friendly message, and invite them to take a look at your blog.

2. When someone follows you, follow them back. Pretty soon, people will start to follow you that you didn’t follow in the first place. (They probably found you the same way you got started). When they follow you, follow them and send a similar message to them as you did above. If you’re already at 2000 people, go in and delete a few that aren’t following you. I get rid of the ones that don’t have a picture, because they probably aren’t too serious about Twitter. Which leads to point 3.

3. Personalize your site. Add your picture. Write about yourself, and post a background image. Put your blog or website link on it. Remember, you need to be social – even if you’re not!

4. If you’re on Facebook, tie it together with Twitter. If you’re not on Facebook, get with it! It’s crucial that you’re on the most popular social sites, and Facebook is definitely up there in the top 2. When you tie them together, it makes it so that when you send a tweet, it automatically updates the “what are you doing” part of Facebook. By the way, you can find friends on Facebook the same way you did on Twitter.

5. Check out twhirl.com. This is a program you download to your computer that sits on your desktop and display tweets from others without having to have your browser open. Of course, you can post your own tweets there, too. One neat thing about twhirl is it has a built-in url shortener in it. If you have a long link to post, you might now have enough space. In twhirl, you can just enter the link into a box and click “shorten” and you’ll get a short link that you can use in your tweet.

6. Twitterfeed, for blogs. If you have a blog, you might be interested in twitterfeed. This is a website where you can register your blog or blogs, and whenver you make a post it will automatically update twitter. Although there’s lots of Internet marketers proclaiming the advantages of outsourcing, not many share the disadvantages of outsourcing.

Disadvantages of Outsourcing 1: You Don’t Necessarily Save Time By Outsourcing

Outsourcing requires work to write your specifications, to post your job, to select the best bidders, and to determine the winning bid.

You’ll also have to spend time establishing benchmarks, deciding on a final completion time, and providing and getting information from preferred vendors.

After the job is completed, you have to check it and often ask for corrections, then check to assure that the corrections have been made. Finally you have to approve the job so the vendor can be paid.

So outsourcing doesn’t necessarily save you time. You’re just spending your time on the outsourcing process instead of on doing the job yourself. Sometimes it’s actually faster, and definitely cheaper to just do it yourself.

Disadvantages of Outsourcing 2: Language Differences Complicate Effective Communications

Online outsource services use international people who may not speak English well enough to understand your instructions, to ask questions that you understand, or to communicate about the job status effectively.

In addition, most outsource services forbid their vendors from communicating with you off site. Together the language difference and the limited access hamper communications.

Disadvantages of Outsourcing 3: It’s Difficult To Keep Outsource Vendors On Task

If your vendor doesn’t keep you informed about the job’s progress, there’s not much you can do except leave a message on the outsource service site. You may hear back from the vendor promptly or you may not hear back for days.

It doesn’t matter if your vendor is intentionally not responding to you because the job isn’t going well, or if he just hasn’t seen your message. Either way, you don’t know how to proceed with the rest of the project.

Okay, you’re booked into that huge industry trade show in a few months in Orlando Now all you need is an eye-catching trade show display with captivating wording and stunning graphics to attract people’s attention and various printed matter to give out: brochures, manuals, handouts – and don’t forget business cards! But where do you start?

Don’t panic. The solution to your Orlando Trade Show worries is as easy as 1-2-3: 1 – decide on your display design and layout; 2 – figure out what kind of graphics you’ll need 3 – find a professional printer who can handle your project – including any last – minute details that crop up
