Article marketing is one of the most effective ways to generate traffic to a website since readers always prefer to go to a website that has information. While many people manage to generate traffic to their websites by promising many things, these techniques do not work for a long time. Article marketing helps a person generate unique traffic to his website and this technique also helps the website get a good page ranking.

If you do article marketing then you must be aware that search engines like Google and Yahoo have a lot of rules and procedures in order to list your website in their search engine results. Articles that have good information in them generate traffic to your website without breaking any rules of search engines.

Article marketing also allows website owners to get back links to their website and this technique helps in generating traffic while increasing page ranking. If a website provides useful content then other websites will automatically be interested in posting your links on their website, which will help you get more back links without taking effort.

Article marketing also helps promote sales since consumers these days prefer to spend their money on a website that provides information along with good products. Authors that post articles with useful information are seen as an expert in their field and people always prefer to buy products sold by a person who has knowledge in that particular field. Websites that use article marketing to post useful articles do not need to search hard for new customers as useful content automatically attracts people to the website.

By hiring a person to write about your website you may see a nice increase in traffic. After all isn’t that the best way to find people to buy what you have, just have them finding your website is the most important part of letting people know what you offer.

When you think of using this idea as a way to advertise you should make sure that you get more than just one article though. Placing the same article up on many sites will still bring in business, but when a person sees different articles in different places it looks much better.

Finding a writer may take a bit of time, but you have options when it comes to this too. First you can look for a person who does this as a job. Or you can see about a writing service. Either would work great, because you should give them a good idea of what you want. And any writer that knows how to do the job right will research.

An article can be written up about the different unique products that you offer, and how they can help out a person’s body and health. People are huge on getting healthy, and herbs and healthy organic food are all the rage right now. So focusing on things like this will help you get a great article, and business.

Obviously there are benefits to picking either one of these choices. A single writer may charge you not as much money. But they may not be able to handle the amount of articles you need either. That’s where a writing service is leaps and bounds above a single writer in that area.

With a great written article and keywords placed in it, you will be a success at moving your website to the top of every search engine you can think of. Making you a possible household name if you have the best product out there and offer great customer service. Remember an article will bring you the people; you will need to do the rest of the work.

Now comes the fun part of finding places to put this or several articles up. More than one should be done, that way you can place several articles in multiple places. Picking social networking sites is a great start. Health blogs for a health store with your link to the website should also be used.

To find a writer you may want to place an ad up at a freelance place, or better yet for large orders or even small ones look at a writing service. They will have several writers on their staff, all of who will produce the best articles out there. These people work at this every day and will make sure you get original high quality work. You can know this for sure with a service, but with an individual you can’t be sure unless you really want to research them and find out past work. To save time the best option is easily to settle with a writing service that can push out the work a lot quicker than one person could.

If your line of work involves writing articles, you’re one of many people in such a situation. While writing can be an extremely enjoyable and rewarding process, many are at a loss for what to write about.

One can often feel overworked and at a loss for ideas after writing numerous articles, and coming up with creative ideas can often be a challenge.

Based on my experience, I’d like to share some advice with you that I do believe will be of great help to you. Follow these simple rules and you may even enjoy writing.

People enjoy reading articles with lists, and writing them is one of the easier ways to write an easy read. This way, you’ll know the items that made your list (i.e. a top ten list) and you’ll have an easy time writing a paragraph or two about each.

Yet another really easy means of writing has always been that of telling stories based on my own experience. Whether it’s something you did a long time ago, or a more recent event that led you to feel a certain way about something, retelling the events and interjecting your thoughts will easily lead to an article that flows well and captures the minds of your readers.

You can also challenge yourself to write your articles within a certain time frame. If I sit down, I’ll usually give myself something like two hours, where I know that those two hours will purely be devoted to article writing. Set a goal and do everything you can to hit that goal within the span.

Reward yourself when you’re done with your articles. This way, the purpose of your work may be less abstract in the short run. Many people forget why they’re writing to begin with, and they fail to see this.

Lastly, I’d recommend that you work to improve your typing speed and skills. This will go a very long way toward improving your overall efficiency. In typing quickly, I find that I can write an article in half the time that most people can.

This writer writes about many other topics, including indoor air conditioner covers and portable AC units.

Finding an article publishing partner is like courting a significant other. You want to choose a spouse that compliments you. Your spouse will be able to help you work through your weaknesses while highlighting your strengths. In the same way, you want to choose a publishing company that has the ability to assist in generating traffic to your articles, offer a large distribution network, and ultimately earn you money.

What publishing options do they offer? Many article syndication sites hold articles on their website. Triond will not store articles on their internal site. Instead, Triond publishes articles through a network of partner websites and blogs. Triond matches the article with the websites posts.

Many large article publishing websites discourage you from advertising your primary business. You could be offered to publish a link on your profile, however, the article publishing site do not allow listing links within a Resource Box.

Triond allows you to create a Resource Box. The Resource Box lists links to your sales pages, blog(s), or website(s). These links have the added benefit of increasing your blogs Search Engine Rankings. Search engines discount multiple links linking from the same site, even if they are link to different blogs. Since Triond places articles on different blogs, search engines list each link as different. Vastly increasing your SEO.

Earning an online income needs a profitable pay plan. Many publishing businesses, like Associated Content or Helium, pay freelance writers either upfront and continuing revenue payments. These websites base your ongoing revenue payments on the amount of advertising revenue brought in from your content. However, Associated Content or Helium wont tell the percentage of ad revenue you are paid. Triond provides the amount that you will be paid 50% of the ad payments, for the life of your article.

It is hard to make money with an enormous minimum payment threshold. The minimum payout, you must earn, before collecting payment varies from website to business. For example, Helium has a minimum payout threshold of $25.00. Increased disbursement thresholds will make it much harder to get paid. Triond’s payout threshold varies by pay-off method. You have the option to choose to receive paid by Paypal, check, or Western Union. If you opt for Paypal you will be receive payment when your revenue reaches $0.50. If you choose to receive a check or Western Union the pay-off minimum is set for $50.00. This ensures that it is worth Triond’s staff’s time to process the check or Western Union.

Triond uses a network of varied websites and blogs to publish articles. Triond allows you to add a Resource Box with link back to your affiliate marketing sites, blogs, or other websites. Combining the Resource Box links and network of websites and blogs provides you with valuable back-links. Triond offers a competitive revenue share of 50% of ad revenue. Triond also offers a smaller minimum payout amounts. Each of these factors combines to make Triond a potentially profitable article publishing site for you. Anyone wishing to make money online by publishing articles owes it to themselves to check out Triond.

What’s next after setting up a website? Obviously, it is to constantly update it with some exciting information that keeps people coming back in order to increase the number of visitors each day. To achieve that, here are some tips I have came up with that leads to a good piece of article.

1. Be clear with what you are trying to say. It is important that you have enough knowledge about your subject matter because you may happen to have all the exclusive knowledge that people may not know and that is what attracts them. If you are just an amateur, it’s best for you to do more research before generating an article. You may also find it useful to ask an expert for his opinions.

2. Write only about what you’re interested in! Readers can easily sense your enthusiasm and be attracted to your writing especially if you have a great interest in your topic because as a result, you may be able to include more exclusive information as well as some personal experiences which creates a more realistic picture. Other than successful experiences, you may also include some failures that you have came across for readers to take references.

3. You must explain your writing intent well. Do this is the very first paragraph of each article you write and let the reader have an overall picture of what they are about to read. This act as a guideline and makes it easier for reader to follow. State in that paragraph whether they will be expecting an explanation, or solutions to a problem. Readers can then decide for themselves if they prefer to read on or leave the site.

4. Answer the questions you have asked at the beginning of your article. If you have asked how to do something in your first paragraph, you should include the steps used to achieve the goal in the article. Thorough follow-up and explanation should also be provided.

5. The article should be very articulate yet informative. There are times when we keep staring at the article we have just read and cannot understand what the message was. What if your readers feel the that way about what you write? People want to take something with them when they visit your site. What you can do is provide them with useful information and present your contents in a direct way. Customers will be happy to re-visit your site because they are gaining knowledge.

6. Allocate your article accordingly. Remember, short little paragraphs are usually easier to digest than long dull sentences. Most readers are likely to just skim through articles to search for what they want to read. Therefore you should try to organize it by adding bullet points to things that you want to emphasize. Bullet points enable readers to quickly summarize your information.

Your website will be full of fresh content if you can practice the above tips well. Search engines will then crawl over your site and the traffic of your site will be increased. So start writing a precise but informative article and publish it on your website.

First impression counts the most when you apply for a job. It is made by your resume. So it is important that your resume should be very well written and contains all the details about you. Find some tips below to write it perfectly.

When you have written a resume, make sure you read it again for spelling or grammatical errors. You can check it with a spell check. A spell checker software is not perfect so you need to read your resume yourself to find any errors.

The resume should neither be too long nor too short. It should just have enough details about your skills and everything else. It may not be fully read if it is too long or has unnecessary information in it.

The formatting style used on your resume can vary depending upon whether you are submitting it online or by hand. If you are going to get it printed, you should have things like font styles, bullets and other formatting. It should be simple if it has to be submitted online.

Employers often receive a lot of resumes every day. Sometimes they just do not see every resume. They search through the resumes using various keywords. So you should include the keywords in your resume. You should mention your skills, positions you have worked on, technologies used, educational and experience details.

All the important points should be summarized and clearly mentioned. You should write a clear objective and details about your experience and qualifications. You should clearly mention your job position at your previous employer.

Do not submit the same resume to all the employers. When you are applying to a job position, make your resume according to that position. You may leave most things unchanged but just add details about that particular skill.

There are various social media tools where you can get in touch with professionals from all over the world. LinkedIn is one such tool where you can get in touch with various persons and establish contacts.

Sending a marketing letter can have a very positive impact on a business’ potential. Any business that needs to succeed through sales promotions will certainly benefit from the use of a solid sales letter. However, this does raise questions as to what one can do when those employed by the business lack the ability to compose an original sales letter.

This problem really is not much of a problem. Thanks to the availability of a sample marketing letter, a business or entrepreneur can follow a logical template that will aid in producing a much needed and beneficial marketing letter. Often, this will prove to be a huge plus to those businesses that may otherwise be suffering from weak sales generation.

A sample marketing letter has a number of pros and cons associated with them. A clear understanding of these many pros and cons will certainly aid in ensuring that the purpose of the letter is achieved. Again, you will always want to see the marketing letter leads to increased revenues. So, here is a brief look at the common pros and cons associated with a sample marketing letter:

The sample marketing letter will have been created by a professional and will include all of the points to stress when writing a marketing letter. When following these to write your own sales page, do not omit any important steps included on the sample. If you do, you may not get a very good result. Sometimes, the smallest things can make a big difference in sales.

Following a marketing letter template will give your sales piece some necessary structure so you do not start rambling or lose the reader’s train of thought. When complete, your marketing letter should be structured in a way that causes the reader to respond. The proper structure must be followed for best results.

Using a sample will also help ensure that the marketing letter is brief and to the point. Far too often, people assume that if they overload a sales letter they will experience a very positive response from the recipient. This is often NOT the case as too much information can lead to a rejection of the material present in the sales letter. Sample letters help you avoid such a scenario.

One con commonly associated with a marketing letter sample is that it can be a bit generic. That is, it is not tailored for a specific business. As such, it can appear to be a canned letter in some instances. This is not terribly bad but it is not a great positive either.

Remember that you must carefully edit your own work. A professional may have written the sample, but you do not have a professional to proofread your final copy. No matter how carefully you follow the template, if your marketing letter is filled with grammar errors and typos, you will still make a bad impression.

A sample marketing letter is beneficial to all marketers whether it is an individual or business. They provide much needed guidance for those involved in direct marketing and are the next best thing to having your own copywriter.

You may have a lot of first hand experience because you have worked or studied in that particular field before. 2. Write about topics that you are interested in. You will get excited when you talk about your interest and your excitement can be shown in your writing. Readers will be interested if you can give them first hand knowledge in your article. For example, you need to write an article about making money at home and you are really interested in this topic. Hence you can write about your successful and unsuccessful experiences. By telling the readers your real life examples, they will find your article trustful and interesting.

3. You must explain your writing intent well. Do this is the very first paragraph of each article you write and let the reader have an overall picture of what they are about to read. 4. Solve the questions that you have raised. It is important that you solve all the enquiries that you have brought up in the first paragraph. For example, if you are writing about working at home, you should be prepared to provide a rough progressive plan for your readers to follow. Remember to explain clearly on each step in your plan.

5. The article should be very articulate yet informative. There are times when we keep staring at the article we have just read and cannot understand what the message was. With the advent of search engine optimization, link building, and every other method to raise traffic to your website, article marketing has become one of the leading ways to generate visitors and links. Submitting high quality articles to directories increases brand awareness on the internet as well as adding links to your site. Adding links to your site will help to increase your rankings in the search engines. Submitting articles has become easier and easier as new solutions are made available.

Unnecessary time and energy is spent on manual submission of articles. Businesses are smart when they take advantage of the automatic submission tools and spend more time on worthwhile tasks that grow their business. Automatic submission will allow you to submit to hundreds of article directories with the click of a mouse instead of days of manual work.

Automatic article submission has become increasingly popular as there are many tools that will perform these tasks with the press of a button. You just load your article and let it work on autopilot. It automatically submits to hundreds of directories in the time that it would have taken you to submit to one manually. This frees you up to brainstorm and develop new ideas to grow and market your business.

Make sure to check for features that you want in article submission software. For example, if you want to use different pen names, the software should allow this feature. Some programs allow you to enter an article directory yourself, while others allow for scheduled submissions. Scheduling submissions is important as it is a more natural approach to marketing. Be sure to check out the guarantees if you want to try out the software for a short period of time before committing to the purchase.

Creating unique content is the most important feature of any article submission tool. Very few services have the ability to spin your content into unique versions of the same article. Duplicate penalties are a big buzz in the internet marketing world right now so whatever you can do to avoid it is good. The software creates many unique versions of the one article you post and uses each one to submit to specific article directories. You can also reload it and create new versions of it for your personal use on your website.

In order to survive, a business needs to make sales. The more sales made, the higher the profits. A very important marketing tool to help make more sales is a sales letter. A marketing letter that is expertly crafted could be responsible for many sales and make the business a lot of money. It is easy to see why a business would want a solid sales letter, but what do they do when there is no one capable of writing a high quality sales piece?

A sample marketing letter can help anyone who is weak at writing sales copy by providing a step-by-step template to follow while constructing the sales piece. A sample marketing letter can benefit a business that needs more sales or anyone that wants to learn the art of copywriting. A good copywriter is an important business asset, but may be too expensive for fledgling businesses to hire. When learning copywriting on your own, a solid template is of great value.

Using a sample marketing letter has some good points and bad points. An understanding of these helps to ensure that the sample is used properly and good results are achieved. After all, the purpose of the letter is to increase revenue.

The sample marketing letter will have been created by a professional and will include all of the points to stress when writing a marketing letter. When following these to write your own sales page, do not omit any important steps included on the sample. If you do, you may not get a very good result. When you follow a template when drafting your marketing letter, you give the sales piece the structure and focus that is needed to create interest in the reader so they are more likely to buy your product. A good sales page leads the reader to buy, but the proper structure is necessary to elicit that response.

Tight sales copy is important in getting people to respond to your marketing letter. If you follow a sample template while writing your sales piece it will help keep you from rambling. Being concise gets better results. Overloading the reader with choices and information can often backfire and cause them to turn away. Following a template can help you overcome this common tendency and help you trim down your sales piece so it is more effective.

One drawback associated with using a sample marketing letter is that it tends to be generic in nature and it may be hard for you to tweak it to your specific business. It may even give the appearance of being canned if you are not careful.

Although a professional copywriter wrote your sample letter, you will not have one of these experts around to proofread your final copy. Be aware that you must edit your work carefully. Even if you follow the template exactly as you should, if your copy has spelling and grammar errors, it will turn your readers away.

Ultimately, a solid sample marketing letter will prove to be a great help for any business seeking to succeed in direct mail marketing. This is why they are so popular and will continue to be popular for many years to come.

A sample marketing letter will cover all the points that need to be stressed when writing a marketing letter. A professional copywriter should write the sample marketing letter. Therefore, it is important to follow the sample exactly as laid out in order to get results. Do not omit any steps because you do not think they are necessary or your results may be less than what you hoped for. Professional copywriters know that even tiny changes in a sales piece can make a huge difference in sales for the better or worse.

Sample marketing letters also present a much needed sense of structure to the letter. When a letter – for lack of a better word – rambles without any clear cohesion of focus, the letter will not deliver the intended results. However, a properly structured and detailed sample letter will deliver the results one is seeking.

Using a sample as guide will also help you keep your sales copy tight and brief. Too much information and too many choices overwhelm the reader and cause them to stop reading rather than buy. It is important to get to the point in a marketing letter but most people tend to ramble on. Following a template will help you control your tendencies to be verbose.

One drawback associated with using a sample marketing letter is that it tends to be generic in nature and it may be hard for you to tweak it to your specific business. It may even give the appearance of being canned if you are not careful.

Another con is that sample marketing letters are devoid of the careful, calculating hand of an editor. When errors are present in a modified sample letter, the entrepreneur may not have access to this. As such, a poorly revamped sample marketing letter may go out in the mail.

All things considered, a sample marketing letter is a big help to anyone or any business involved in direct mail or any other type of marketing. It is the next best thing to having a professional copywriter on staff.

What is the best way to attract people to come to your site, when you articles are finished and already uploaded onto the website? The key element is the content of your work. Remember that the information you provide should be as new as possible. You may have to edit and efficient upload whatever you think is suitable for the site. I believe the following suggestions will be helpful for all of you.

1. You have to know what you are writing about. The information in the article will only be valid and sensible if you know the subject well. You may have a lot of first hand experience because you have worked or studied in that particular field before. In case you are absolutely new to the subject, you can either do some research on your own, or seek help from experts by simply conduct an interview with them. They will give you insights to what the subject matter is.

2. You have to be interested in what you are writing. It really show when you are interested in something, from the way you talk and your gestures. People usually appear to be more outspoken and energetic when they are talking of their interests, this is also reflected in what you write. Of course you can write about your first hand experience on practically everything. Try to incorporate in your writing the useful tips, which readers can learn from. Writing about the failures or problems that your have encountered will also make the content more believable.

3. Tell the readers your objective of writing the article. You should start the article by telling them what the article is about. Sometimes you may even need to give detailed explanation. In any case, you must give enough information in the first paragraph that enables your readers to decide whether the article is important for them to read or not.

4. Solve the questions that you have raised. It is important that you solve all the enquiries that you have brought up in the first paragraph. For example, if you are writing about working at home, you should be prepared to provide a rough progressive plan for your readers to follow. Remember to explain clearly on each step in your plan.

5. Your article should be explicit as well as educational. Many online writers fail to achieve this, which leaves their readers with plenty of unsolved questions in their mind. I am sure you do not want to have the same type of readers either, right? That’s why you will need to write explicitly in order to keep them coming back to your website. That will not only make your article more fruitful, as well as to to build trust between you and your readers.

6. Your article should be divided into sections to make them more readable. Long paragraphs are discouraging and people usually won’t have the patience for that. Keep the paragraphs short and simple so readers get the gist of it by scanning through it. To do this effectively, you can use either bullet points, or numbers. The clear division would help readers to figure out the context easily and summarize what they are interested in knowing.

Your website will be full of fresh content if you can practice the above tips well. Search engines will then crawl over your site and the traffic of your site will be increased. So start writing a precise but informative article and publish it on your website.

SUBMIT YOUR ARTICLE is better than ISnare. It submits to EzineArticles and other high quality directories for you. It applies an advanced Article Leverage technology to enhance your listings. Cost. $37.00/month. Another network type of sites service is SPIN DISTRIBUTE. You get links from other sites in the network AND from other sources, like directories. They also offer to write, spin, submit, and syndicate 10 articles/month for $89.00/month, and that is a real value. There are smaller packages but no free ones.

MY WAY LINKS is like a closed-door membership site/service whereby you’ll only get links from quality sites. The network is small compared to what My Article Network and Unique Article Wizard have for network size. Cost. $7 first month. $47.00/month. On the other hand, UNIQUE ARTICLE WIZARD offers blog, html sites, and an article directories network. You WILL get hundreds or even thousands of backlinks per article here, plus a decent amount of referral traffic. It is worth every penny of its $67/month cost.

Article Marketing Automation, also known as MY ARTICLE NETWORK is a blog network that is roughly 10k-20k sites in size. This kind of distribution of original articles is great for backlinks and referral traffic. The current cost is $47/month. No free membership levels are available beyond a short trial. SEND ARTICLES.COM has a really brief sales page. SendArticles.com sends your articles to only 100 article directories. Don’t forget a link from an article directory is only ONE type of backlink, and you want to have a variance of backlink styles for a well-rounded link building campaign. Cost for 1 article/month is $30. There is no free level of participation.

1 WAY LINKS is another blog network service. Last I checked there were about 1500. It started out strong and actually helped a couple of my sites, but the network is no longer solid like it was and too many of the sites became link-farm style. That simply devalues the links. Not worth using right now. Too bad. At $47/month and a good support forum, I liked its operations. But not its longer term results.

Nonetheless, I have learned that it will be a lot less expensive and much more effective if you apply your own leverage and your own techniques to article marketing and submission. If you connect with networks that already exist and already are waiting for your articles it will cost a lot less than many of these other services mentioned. What works best in my opinion is to use either MY ARTICLE NETWORK ($47/month) if you are just starting a site, or UNIQUE ARTICLE WIZARD ($67/month) for solid power and reliability. Write your own articles or get some written where they have writers who specialize in preparing original content articles in UAW format. Use your time, money and talent wisely. It is best to create your own system. Mine is working well.

Not too many people are fond of writing articles. There are some who write, but they come up with complex or boring articles that nobody wants to read all throughout. If this isnt bad enough, some articles dont even get noticed at all. Article writing should really be enjoyable and fulfilling. But if the writer cannot connect with his readers, the time and effort that he spent in writing will all go to waste.

To keep people interested in the articles, the write-ups should be read-worthy in first place. An interesting article has something to do with an interesting topic, so choose wisely. Choose a topic that you are familiar and comfortable with. Dont take that notion that only experts on the field can write about that specific topic. Any creative and resourceful writer can still hold the attention of his readers.

The joy of writing articles comes with many benefits. Not only does it bring relevant information to the reader and provide an opportunity for the writer, it can also be a source of income. To start writing, one has to know the basics. Once the writer gets the hang of it, the readers will keep coming, and so will the money! Now that is fun writing.

Try article submission tools that will submit your article to hundreds, or even thousands of article directories. This can dramatically increase the number of views your article receives. Emphasize your points with the use of numbers and bullets. Make your formatting attractive to facilitate readability and guide your reader from point to point.

Use subsections to organize your ideas. Subsections assists in the transition of ideas. Well organized ideas make reading easier. Use captivating titles. Before any article is read, viewers look at the title first. If anything catches their attention, only then would they invest time to read the whole portion of it.

Make the article as interesting as possible. Provide examples to better illustrate your point. This will keep the readers attention from start to finish. Make use of facts and statistics. A factual article commands credibility. However, dont overdo it by becoming too technical. Be informative, yet remain friendly.

Using article submission tools to get your article to the widest possible audience, along with the tips above, will help you get more readers and visitors to your website.

About the Author:

Many people have difficulty writing articles. There are those who write, but the ideas get all mixed up that it becomes confusing to understand what the writer wants to say. Even worse, these writings may remain unnoticed. Article writing should bring pleasure and enjoyment to both writer and reader. However, if the readers cannot relate to the writer, then all the efforts are in vain.

The articles should be interesting enough to be read-worthy. With this, it is very important that the writer chooses his topic wisely. In choosing a topic, it is relatively easy to write about something the writer is most comfortable with. However, it doesnt take an expert to write about a specific topic. An ingenious article can do wonders in attracting readers.

Not only is article writing fun, it comes with many benefits as well. It can provide useful information for the readers, an outlet for the writer, and most especially a source of income. Writers can start with the basics. After some time, writers can freely flow with the writing. When readers take interest in the articles (or the topic in the articles), you get a good chance of boosting your sales, whatever you are selling. This makes writing more fun than it is.

Emphasize your points with the use of numbers and bullets. Make your formatting attractive to facilitate readability and guide your reader from point to point.

Subsections can effectively organize your ideas while you go from one point to another. Readers wont have a difficult time following your ideas if theres an outline to follow. Give careful thought to titles also. Readers are captivated by titles first before they decide to read the rest of the article.

If you are a writer online, you will be using article submission services. Investigate which ones are the best ones to use for your purposes. At least this is true from an economical standpoint. It also seems true from the perspective of efficiency. Why put a lot of time and effort into an article that will get lousy distribution or supremely slow dispersal? Check out which ones are the best. This is an annotated list of popular and well recognized article submission services. There is no special order to the list but it includes these services: ISnare, My Article Network, Submit Your Article, Spin Distribute, Unique Article Wizard, Send Articles.com, My Way Links, Fast Submit Articles.com, 1waylinks.com, SEO Content Writers, and ArticleSubmissionServices.com.

ISNARE sends one copy of your article to hundreds of webmasters. Articles must be 500 words or more. They prevent cross-posting of the same article to multiple directories. Platinum membership level is $59.95/month and includes a lot of extra services and directories than the free article submission option. The submission and acceptance of articles is substantially different for paid members than it is for free members. You will get some traffic and a decent amount of backlinks. Another company worth looking at is SEO Content Writers. They have a very professional-looking site but they are expensive. It is reasonable to assume they are delivering the goods. SEO CONTENT WRITERS offers specialized content development and quality copywriting solutions for corporations. You can hire a team of writers dedicated to your project. No free submissions are offered.

SUBMIT YOUR ARTICLE is better than ISnare. It submits to EzineArticles and other high quality directories. It applies an advanced Article Leverage technology to enhance your listings. Cost. $37.00/month. The price tag of $89/month at SPIN DISTRIBUTE might slow you down a little. It is a network of sites service where you get links from other sites in the network AND from other sources, like directories. They offer excellent services for their fee. They will write, spin, submit, and syndicate 10 articles/month. They have no free packages but they do have smaller packages.

MY WAY LINKS is like a closed-door membership site/service whereby you’ll only get links from quality sites. The network is small compared to what My Article Network and Unique Article Wizard have for network size. Cost: $7 first month. $47.00/month. UNIQUE ARTICLE WIZARD stands head and shoulders above these others with its blog, html sites, and article directories network. From your UAW articles you WILL get hundreds or thousands of backlinks here, plus referral traffic. It will cost you $67/month and believe me it is well worth the pennies you spend here.

Article Marketing Automation, also known as MY ARTICLE NETWORK is a blog network that is roughly 10k-20k sites in size. This kind of distribution of original articles is great for backlinks and referral traffic. Cost at the time of this writing is $47.00/month. No free membership levels except for a short trial. Even so, I have found that it is a lot less expensive and much more effective to apply your own leverage and your personal techniques to article marketing and submission. Mine is working well. By connecting with existing networks that are already waiting for your articles it will cost a lot less than these other services. What works best for me is to use either MY ARTICLE NETWORK ($47/month) with a new site, or UNIQUE ARTICLE WIZARD ($67/month) for solid power and reliability. Write your own articles or get some written where they have writers who specialize in preparing original content articles in UAW format. Use your time, money and talent wisely as you develop your own system.

A blog should be a fixture of your attorney advertising efforts. A legal blog takes a lot of focus and energy to implement. I think one of the hardest things is consistently coming up with new ideas for posts. Here is a list of 5 ideas for legal blog posts.

1. Create A List – Internet users love to read lists. Lists are easy to digest and fit with the way content on the internet is read.

2. Reference good links – It’s difficult to find the needles in the haystack that is the web. Your followers will appreciate a good set of helpful links to articles, resources, etc.

4. Offer Your Legal Expertise – Of course you want to be careful not to give legal advice. However, you will find that many people have questions or want answers about legal topics. Offer up general legal expertise to establish yourself as a leader in your field.

5. Read Other Blogs In Your Legal Niche – Reading other industry blogs and staying current on the posts is a great way to get ideas for your own blog.

Writing a blog can be a lot of effort and work. However doing so will pay big dividends to your lawyer marketing efforts. If you take the time to write 2-3 good blog posts a week, you will see the pay off in the end. You have a better chance of getting found by the search engines and establishing yourself as a thought leader.

In order to be successful in marketing our services or products we have to make a strong first impression. Successful people have busy days, and you need to be precise and concise to get their attention.

One of the simplest ways to make a great first impression is through article writing. You can carry your message of expertise, product, or cause to the world in minutes by writing a powerful article about a specific topic where you have first hand experience.

Writing an article gives you a chance to show your expertise in your field. All you need is to understand the basics of article writing, and if you follow this simple formula you will succeed. Be specific, and share a simple message from beginning to end.

Choose one concept to share in your article. If you are plumber you might write about DIY plumbing and jurisdictional code, or the difference between copper and pvc pipes. Taking this micro approach gives you room to make your article concise, simple, and understandable.

Use care in writing your title, and always keep your title in alignment with your article content. If you write the title first, and find yourself headed in a different direction then use that original title as a topic for another article project, and rewrite so that you keep the readers attention and trust.

Remember that your article is a teaching tool. We learn quickly and easily when we are presented with one idea and a lot of supporting data or stories to help us understand. If you can teach your reader you will make them happy, and they are more likely to return, subscribe to your RSS, or follow you on twitter.

Whether you offer wellness advice based on your years of clinical experience, or are a stay at home mom sharing tips on how to keep a preschooler entertained and educated, the world needs your expertise. You can make a great first impression and promote your services through concise article writing.

The Unique Article Wizard review is a resounding article marketing success story! I will list the top five ways this article submission service generates results. I have nothing but positive things to say about the Unique Article Wizard.

1. Unique Article Wizard result number one

I get to submit my articles in unique content format. What this means is I can write an article and submit them to the article directory sites and none of them will be duplicate.

2. Unique Article Wizard result number two

The UAW submits my unique content articles to hundreds of different ezines, blogs, directories and other websites. I get my articles indexed and many of my articles have several backlinks to my sites.

3. Unique Article Wizard result number three

Many of my articles that I have written have excellent seo rankings. Many of them are on the first page of Google for several strong keywords. Many of the articles have helped my own websites increase substantially in the rankings as well.

4. Unique Article Wizard result number four

I have seen my affiliate sales increase substantially using the Unique Article Wizard submission service. The ability to include affiliate links in the articles add an incredible value to this already remarkable service. Can you imagine the results you may achieve using UAW?

5. Unique Article Wizard result number five

Last but not least is the Unique Article Wizard affiliate program. They pay a whopping 40% first tier commission and 10% second tier commission. This has resulted in me earning a very handsome profit which pays me way more than my costs for the service.

My name is Todd Schuyler and I use the Unique Article Wizard. I recommended this service to my mom and she is doing very well. She had basically no internet or article marketing experience prior to signing up with the wizard but picked it up quickly using their online video tutorials.

One more feature I like is the ability to submit unlimited articles. There is no limit. You can submit several articles a day if your time permits. For more information go to http://www.wiz4biz.com

About the Author:

Let me tell you one thing – not every Unique Article Wizard review is created the same. Right off the bat, I’ll tell you something you need to know. Unique Article Wizard is the tool that everyone uses but not everyone wants to admit it. And if they’re not using UAW, they’re using something very similar. You cannot succeed with Google rankings unless you focus on backlinks – and that’s what UAW can do for you. Read on below to find out much more.

Mistake #1: Allowing Thousands of Articles To Be Submitted In The Beginning

The people over at Google are smart. They’ve designed their system to flag any brand new sites that all of the sudden start getting thousands of backlinks. So, if you put up an affiliate review blog yesterday and then flooded Unique Article Wizard with your articles, you can bet that’s going to trigger some alarms. Making this mistake will cause your blog to appear on the top for a day or two but ultimately it will sink down to a place where people can’t find it.

You have to be careful to hold back your desire for a quick sale. The real goal is to be focused on building up your site over the long term. If you really want to do a lot of work in the beginning, create multiple sites to promote. But do not start sending thousands of links in the beginning – you’ll only ruin your chances at long term success.

Mistake #2: Focusing on Stats and Not Articles

You can’t succeed with Unique Article Wizard if you’re not spending time writing articles. It’s easy to get in the habit of checking how your articles are doing every day. But every minute you spend checking statistics, you’re losing out on the potential to put more articles through the UAW system. If for some reason at all you can’t write articles, drop the money on getting articles written for you. When you do this, you’re investing in your business – not just wasting more money on another e-book.

Even with just $20 a week for articles, you can start making a huge difference on the rankings of your website in Google. Everything starts with traffic – not the offer. Most affiliate programs want to see you with a high traffic website first and the way to do this comes from submitting articles through UAW. $20 can come from sacrificing one coffee, lunch, and drink per week.

Mistake #3: Not Doing Your Keyword Research

If you’re not paying enough attention to your keyword research, you’re bound to fail. There’s so many interesting niches out there once you start searching that you’re bound to find something that you will end up being flooded with keywords. You need to spend your time checking on other websites, seeing how competitive they are, and making a plan to beat them in whatever way you can.

Unique Article Wizard cannot succeed if you don’t have a plan of attack for beating out other sites. Instead of running away from niches, you have to look at how well optimized they are and see if you’re willing to write articles to give you a competitive edge against them. That’s the real secret to success.

When I do some of my keyword research, I’m surprised about how many opportunities are out there. Unique Article Wizard is one of those tools that gets better and better every day. But you have to be willing to test it out for yourself. Remember, most other e-books are going to tell you to focus on building backlinks. Guess what? That’s what Unique Article Wizard is for. If you’re making it complicated, you’re not going to succeed.

The times are not changing, they have already changed. There are very few consumers left who do not conduct business via the internet. Phone books have become obsolete and so have advertisements which cannot be traced online once a prospective customer has come around to considering buying the product or service advertised. If you have an idea for a new business, or if you have an existing business which is losing its customer base due to lack of promotion, it is time to take the next step and take your business online. These tips can help you get started.

1: Be sure you have plenty of time to invest in this business. If time is an issue with you already, there is no way you can be successful in starting a business. Any type of business takes time, time, time. You should at least expect to spend 60 hours or more a week when you begin your online business, if you are going it alone. This is time for all the details involved in whatever it is you plan on doing.

2. Innovate. The internet has more than enough companies selling computer hardware, for example, and in fields where there is heavy competition, sellers are forced to cut their margins razor-thin and rely on volume sales to make a profit. Try to find a niche that is open, enter it, and become the internet’s leading authority in it.

3: By education, I don’t mean you need to go to school before you start up (even though this would be helpful). I mean you should do your research. Do it thoroughly! Don’t just glance around at a few tip articles like this and decide you are ready to go. You should know very well what you are getting into and what it takes. This will keep your head above water should something unexpected arise. If you learn everything you need to know, you wont be taken off-guard.

4. Advertise creatively. Viral marketing can attract thousands visitors at almost no cost. For example, create an extremely funny short video of a minute and a half or less. In one scene, have a coffee cup with your company’s logo clearly visible. Upload the video to YouTube, and curious visitors will begin to trickle in.

5: If you have any doubt in your mind about starting this at all after doing your research, then don’t proceed. You will end up losing money and determination. It could alter your self-confidence in the event of failure, resulting in a loss of interest in business. In no way do you want that to happen.

With the right strategy and the right tools, taking your business online can increase profits and change the face of your business drastically. It is crucial that planning and forethought be behind ever decision you make regarding your online business and every decision should be backed by solid forethought. Creating your e-business has never been easier and more accessible. Dont let advances in technology render your business obsolete.

The internet has become the primary shopping outlet for many discerning buyers, who have realized that they often have access to better prices, and a wider selection, by shopping online. Because of this, there has never been a better time to make money online than the present. However, the competition is cutthroat and more startups fail than succeed. These powerful tips can help you get ahead in the world of running an online business.

1: Start thinking of yourself as an entrepreneur rather than an employee. Everyone has to start somewhere, and some simple planning will go a long way. Employees are task oriented, entrepreneurs focus on results. It is important that you have a complete knowledge of your revenue source, target market, break-even duration and other strategic details before you begin.

2: You have to be able to wait. You can’t go into any type of business and expect to become a millionaire overnight. It does happen, but it happens so rarely that it is almost impossible. If you get frustrated easily and don’t like to stick to things without quick results, don’t even pursue it. It takes a long time for most businesses to get up and running efficiently, much less turning a huge profit. If you break even at first, that’s success.

4: You should know what product or service you want to sell before starting. The best thing to do is figure out what you would think would go over well for the demographics in your area. Then expand from there. If it will work well demographically for you, then will it work well in larger areas? Is this product something that people will want or need? If so, will they want or need more than one? Will they need to buy the product several times from you? Write all these things down, and make an educated decision.

5: Perform SEO, or search engine optimization on your site to increase your presence on the web. The majority of buyers will visit websites that appear on the first three pages of search engine results. You can hire a professional or do this yourself. Link or associate yourself with complimentary services to maximize exposure and ensure your success online.

All you really need to know is that if you do your research, know your product will work, have the time and determination, then it could be great for you. You should also be ready for disappointment, as well. The most important thing is, be sure to make a solid, educated decision before starting your online business.

If you do not take the time to do your article marketing the right way, even though the method is regarded as the most powerful traffic and lead-generating instrument nowadays, it will do nothing for your e-business. However, you too can become a marketing genius using short, well-written articles, if you follow the strategies below:

1. Improving your open ratio. The first thing you need to do is obvious: be absolutely certain that online users will open your articles when they appear in search results. You can do this by making your heading and article summary benefit-driven, fascinating and compelling. Also, make sure that you don’t give away any of your main, primary secrets in your article summary.

2. Encouraging additional reading. You need to ensure that people will read your articles in their entirety if you want to improve upon your conversion rate. Use a conversational tone and pepper your articles with anecdotes and examples that will make them interesting to read. Don’t overlook the benefits of packing your articles with all the bits of information that your customers are seeking, so they have a valid reason to read further.

3. Improve your response rate. The best headline, summary, and article STILL won’t do you any good without an effective way to turn those readers into prospects and customers. You do this by creating a resource box that explains exactly how you can help the reader solve whatever problem they are having. Often you can offer something free in return for their email address. This is how your turn a reader into a prospect.

Keep in mind that the many benefits you’ll get from article marketing will largely depend on the time and effort you put in. Give readers enough information to spark their curiosity, and use your website as an additional resource. Readers will then develop confidence in you, and they will be more likely to buy from you.

Mistake #1: Too Many Articles Submitted At Once

When it comes to Search Engine Optimization, you really can’t game the system. The team over at Google know what they’re doing – they learn about techniques just like you do. And when they see someone abusing those techniques, they take action. Allowing thousands of articles to go out at once is dangerous for a brand new site of yours. If you’re more established, it’s fine. But if you bought your domain yesterday, you have to play it safe.

If you’re not relying on Pay Per Click or hugely popular on social networks, you’re going to have to depend on articles and building backlinks. It’s just the truth. So you either have to get in the mood of writing article after article or be willing to invest in articles to promote your websites. I wish there was another way around it but there isn’t.

Mistake #3: Relying On Simplistic Keyword Research Techniques

Hopefully you’re learning the right way to do keyword research before using Unique Article Wizard. It’s not just the amount of searches and competitors in Google anymore. You have to know how to analyze competitor sites and see how you can gain a competitive advantage over them. Unique Article Wizard can give you a huge benefit over competing sites – but you won’t understand how to make it work if you don’t study how to research keywords.

Off page and on page optimization are huge factors in the way sites appear on Google. Here’s the secret – not many people in niches that seem competitive actually know how to optimize their sites correctly. If you don’t see how Unique Article Wizard can help you beat those sites, then it’s probably not the system for you.

However, you too can become a marketing genius using short, well-written articles, if you follow the strategies below:

1. Increase the reach of your articles. Getting the headline right is every bit as important as the article itself. Make it eye-catching, interesting and compelling. Make sure that the summary information provides a quick tease, without giving the meat of the article away.

2. Give them what they want. It is important that you make sure that the promises you made in your title and summary are provided within the content of your article. Make it easy to read by providing lists, bullet points, or as much white space as possible. Ideally, you want to keep your reader interested in what you have to say through the entirety of your article, so the make it to the resource box.

3. Increasing your CTR. This takes place in the resource box, but don’t forget to tailor the end of your article as a smooth lead-in. Keep the amount of shameless self-promotion to a minimum. Focus instead on the specific things you can provide for the person reading. Offering a free report or something similar is a great way to get that all-important click.

Keep in mind that the many benefits you’ll get from article marketing will largely depend on the time and effort you put in. Give readers enough information to spark their curiosity, and use your website as an additional resource. Readers will then develop confidence in you, and they will be more likely to buy from you.

2: Recognize who your buyers are, target the un-targeted. Know your customers and target needs that your competitors neglect. Identify common consumer problems and list the ways in which your services can solve them. When consumers shop for services online they are usually looking for a very specific solution to a very specific problem. The key to selling online is to advertise solutions for problems that people need to solve.

3. If you will be selling many different products, consider having a loss leader to attract attention to your site when you launch. A loss leader is a sale that you actually lose a small amount of money on, and its purpose is to get people shopping at your site. Send press releases to all of the authority websites about this special limited-time offer, and watch your item sell out. Although you may lose a little on each individual sale, the attention you will generate could actually cost far less than a traditional ad campaign.

About the Author:

We recognize that we shouldn’t judge things based on a quick first impression. However, we are victims of our human nature and make quick judgments as a result. The bottom line is that it is increasingly important for us to write catchy blog post titles so that people choose to read our articles.

The content you write will not be read if you don’t make the effort to write catchy legal blog titles.

Below I’ve listed 5 ways you can increase the responses to your blog post titles:

1. Ask a Question – A provocative question creates curiosity. People want to find out the answer and feel inclined to click through to read more. This is especially true when the question addresses a specific need or concern and promises to answer a problem the reader identifies with. For instance I wrote a popular post a little while back titled: “Lawyer Marketing Definitions: What are RSS Feeds and Why Should I Care?”. People who didn’t know what RSS feeds were clicked through to find out and have the question addressed.

2. Titles on magazines are a great resource – Magazine copywriters are competing with hundreds of other magazines on the rack for your attention. Online articles often work the same way. You can learn from people who have been doing this successfully for a long time. Browse through the titles of articles on magazine covers for ideas.

3. Use Numbers in Your Title and Lists for Your Posts – I’ve said it before and it’s worth repeating: People on the web love lists. It creates concise, bulleted information that can be digested quickly and easily. If you are reading this post right now, you are seeing an example of using a number in the headline to capture a reader’s attention. There is a funny, comedy site called Cracked that does a nice job of using this technique with many of their posts.

4. Address a problem the reader might have – People are most often times focused on themselves and their problems. This is especially true of people looking for legal help. This is why by addressing a problem that a reader might have in the title of your post, you will engage the reader.

5. Give an explanation on how to do something – Take this article as an example. By explaining how to effectively write legal blog post titles, I am explaining how to accomplish something many people need help with. Even though it may seem obvious or routine to a professional, providing basic knowledge to people without your expertise is a big draw.

Remember to keep your titles short when possible. A good rule of thumb is 9 words or less. Also, be sure to capitalize the first letter of each important word in your headline.

About the Author:

The first step in getting your book sold to a publisher is putting together a proposal so that potential publishers know why they should invest their resources in bringing your idea to the marketplace. Here’s what you need to communicate:

1. The ‘overview’ or need for your particular book on the crowded retail (or online) bookshelf. Why would readers reach for it versus other books on the same topic? Why is this book concept timely and relevant to today’s reader? Why are you the author to write it as opposed to others? What makes you the expert on the subject or why would readers relate to your particular point-of-view?

2. The Table of Contents and Chapter Outline: You’ll need at least ten chapters. Have you thought about the different purpose of each chapter? Once you have, write engaging titles for each chapter and then a lead paragraph to demonstrate your unique writing style.

3. The Introduction. What, exactly, is the purpose of a book’s Introduction anyway? Check a few non-fiction titles out at the library and get a feel for them. You’ll see that there’s no hard and fast rules, but generally the Introduction is the author’s chance to explain what he or she is about to tell you. Or maybe it’s his/her chance to explain why they wrote the book in the first place.

4. Target Markets. This is where you take off your author hat and become all business. Publishers want to know that you understand the audience for your message. How old are they? What is their disposable income and why would they spend it on your book? Provide statistics to support your findings (and beef up the argument that your book is needed!).

5. Competitive Titles. Unless you’ve somehow reinvented the wheel with your subject, there are already several books on the shelves that are similar. Find three or four of them, read them, and offer a paragraph about their content. Then point out how your book differs and fills the need in a much better way.

6. Author Background. Once the publisher is convinced that your book is marketable, you need to prove that you have what it takes to write it. What is your background with regards to the title and your work ethic in general? Granted, you may never have published a book before, but you’ve worked in business for twenty years, meet deadlines and exceed expectations on a daily basis. You also should know that a publisher seeks to sell at least 10,000 books in order to consider a book from a first-time author a success. How will you as an author support this number? Do you teach dog obedience every Saturday? Have you written a related column in your local newspaper? In short, if you can prove that you have a built-in audience; this is where you do it.

7. Promotions. The days of book tours and marketing departments are all but gone for anyone but best sellers. As such, publishers want to know if the author has any ideas on how to get the word out about their book. Would you print up book marks for your cookbook and ask local supermarkets to put them in their shopping bags? Get creative here and let the publisher know that you will do your part to make the book a success after they publish it.

Are you shipping out the letter on the holidays, or is it only an expression of the time of year? Colored envelopes can impart the solutions to any of these questions and much more! There is no limit to the creativity you can state using colorful envelopes and they come from baby blues, to bright reds, to greens and oranges.

If you don’t truly see an envelope as a positive way of showing yourself, you need to think that the first thing that the person getting the letter is going to see is the envelope. A huge impact is produced by first impressions. If you decide to use your favorite color to express your individual style, recipients of your mail will recognise that envelopes in that coloring come from you, before they even open them!.

Why is this book concept timely and relevant to today’s reader? Why are you the author to write it as opposed to others? What makes you the expert on the subject or why would readers relate to your particular point-of-view?

2. The Table of Contents and Chapter Outline. This is probably the section that you’ll struggle with the most, but once it’s complete the book will practically write itself. You’ll need at least ten chapters to be considered ‘meaty’ enough for publication. Once you decide on the message of each chapter, write an engaging title for each. Then, craft a lead paragraph to demonstrate your unique ‘voice’ to your writing.

3. The Introduction. Start by studying Introductions of other non-fiction books to get a solid understanding of the purpose of this section. In short, it sets up the entire book for your readers. This is where you qualify what you are about to do within the chapters and explain yourself and your intent. For example, “I’m not a doctor, but what I’m about to share with you are ways that I’ve learned to”

4. Target Markets. This is where the preliminary work on the book itself is done and where you prove to publishers that you understand your intended audience. Convince publishers that there are 2.5 million dog owners in the United States and that most of them wish that their pets behaved better. Tell them that pet owners spend about $1000 a year on caring for their pets and that 2% of them are avid readers. Dig around to build a case for the publication of your book!

5. Competitive Titles. There are undoubtedly already several published titles on a similar subject to yours. Find them and write a paragraph or two about them. Then, explain how your book’s ‘hook’ offers something completely different to the shared audience.

6. Author Background. By this point in your proposal, you’ve done a great job of selling your concept, but why are you the person to write the book? Do you have a built-in audience? Generally publishers consider a first-time book by a non-published author a success if they sell 10,000 copies. If you have a large family, but your connections stop there, you might have a tough go of it. However, if you are writing a book for young women and were the president of your college sorority, that’s a built-in audience with an alumni magazine that might publish an excerpt. Do you have endorsements (direct quotes) from readers of your work in another format? Can you offer a unique perspective of the subject? This is where you position yourself as the only author who can bring this book to market and why.

7. Promotions. If you think that you’ll be sent on a glorious book tour and do nothing but smile and sign copies, think again. Such royal treatment is reserved for best sellers these days. You’ll need to think outside of the box and help your publisher spread the word about your book. This is where you brainstorm and share your ideas. Is there a National “Tough Love Your Dog” day that you could attach your services to somehow? Would you print a “How To” summary on postcards and send them to vets to put on display in their waiting room? Brainstorm some ways to support book sales to the masses and your publisher will know that they have a partner in you.

About the Author:

Everyone tells you that you should write a book, right? Well, it’s not quite as simple as that, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done. Writing the book is actually the easy part, it’s putting the required proposal together than often stumps the would-be author. Here are the basic elements to get you started:

1. The Overview: Why is your book concept, or ‘hook’, different from what’s already on the shelves? Does it offer a unique voice or methodology? Has something happened in the world or is there a trend that’s emerging that demands a new book on the subject?

2. The Table of Contents and Chapter Outline. Often the most difficult part of the entire process, putting together the table of contents proves to yourself (and ultimately, publishers) that you have enough ‘meat’ to flesh out your topic. Can you cover ten different chapters? Are the headlines for each chapter engaging? Do they give the reader a good idea of what their reading experience will be like? Once you are happy with your chapters and titles, write a lead paragraph for each. This will be your only chance to demonstrate your writing style or ‘voice’ until the actual writing is done.

3. The Introduction. Take a little time to look over this section in existing non-fiction books to get a feel for the purpose of the Introduction. They vary, but in general this is where the author explains what he or she is setting out to do in the chapters that follow. This is also where you can announce any caveats that may exist. For example, “My advice here can’t replace medical attention from a vet, but my twenty years of training stray dogs has taught me that”

There are undoubtedly already several published titles on a similar subject to yours. Find them and write a paragraph or two about them. Then, explain how your book’s ‘hook’ offers something completely different to the shared audience.

6. Author Background. Assuming that you’ve convinced a publisher that your book needs to be developed, why are you the best author for the job? This is where you stop selling the book and start selling yourself. What is your background and who do you know that could lead to book sales? Publishers want to know that at least 10,000 copies of your book will sell. Using the example of a parenting book, are you the PTO President? If so, there’s a strong likelihood that you’d be invited to speak to large groups when the book comes out (which in turn leads to book sales). Do you have a radio show with a built-in audience for book sales? Are you a blogger with a proven record of unique hits per day? This section of the proposal is where you convince publishers that you are the only person qualified to write this book and help with its success.

With Unique Article Wizard, though, you’ll be submitting an article to a variety of web sites by picking categories and topics that your article is relevant to. As a monthly subscriber to Unique Article Wizard , I have used it to pick up a number of backlinks to my site, as well as to rank on the first page of Google *quickly* for a number of terms.

How Does Unique Article Wizard Allow Me To Get Rankings For Specific Keywords: After you submit an article, you have the opportunity to write an Author Resource or “BIO” box. In the resource box, you can also include html. For one of my web sites, the resource box may look something like this: Business Name provides a variety of KEYWORD 1 and KEYWORD 2 resources. Where keyword 1 and keyword 2 are, those would be html links and you wouldn’t see the code. By distributing your article to upwards of thousands of blogs and article sites, Unique Article Wizard is placing keyword anchor text for you, something that could take hours if you were to do it yourself. You have the potential of placing hundreds to thousands of targeted anchor text on high PageRank and trafficked sites, increasing your chances of ranking for the keywords you are targeting.

How Quickly Will I Begin Ranking For The Keywords I Am Targeting? Unfortunately, that’s not an easy question to answer. If you’re trying to rank for a competitive term, it may take quite a bit more than article marketing to rank for the keyword. I have, however, ranked for competitive terms by solely using Unique Article Wizard. My site already has links pointing to it, but my technique consisted of pushing out 1-2 articles per DAY. If each article is posted to 800-1,600 sites (per the category I was targeting), that’s a potential of 8,000 links a week, on the low end! I make sure to switch up my keyword anchor text, though, using a variety of phrases and pages so that all the links count, instead of being counted as duplicates.

How Will I Know That My Site Is Benefiting From Using Unique Article Wizard? After a few days, I take two steps: 1. Run a Rank Check Report: Using Aaron Wall’s free SEO Book plugin, I type in the keywords that I was targeting in the article and see where I currently rank. Over approximately a week period, if I’m aggressively distributing unique, informative articles, the ranking will steadily increase. 2. Check In With Yahoo Site Explorer: After a week, backlinks from your article marketing should begin showing up. I use Yahoo’s free tool to find out how many links my site now has, and I use tools like SEOPro (free) to find out the PageRank of those sites, the anchor text that is pointing to my site, and whether that anchor text link is nofollow or not. Yahoo Site Explorer is a quick way to confirm that, yes, my article marketing is getting me backlinks, while other tools are more time intensive way to confirm that, yes, those links are providing value.

Is Unique Article Wizard Really Worth The Money? That’s also a hard question to answer without knowing your situation. For me, the answer is YES. Actually, it’s MOST DEFINITELY YES. Unique Article Wizard will cost you $67 a month via PayPal. If that’s not in your budget right now, then obviously it’s not worth it to you. If you’re on the fence about ordering it, the nice thing is that Unique Article Wizard IS a monthly subscription, and you can cancel at any time. For me, Unique Article Wizard provides benefit in that I am at no loss for new article topics, and Unique Article Wizard makes it easy for me to distribute those articles to relevant sites AND get quality backlinks back. I submit anywhere from 1-10 articles a DAY via Unique Article Wizard, albeit for a variety of sites and client web sites. If you are only going to use Unique Article Wizard once a month or so, the cost may not be justified. You can easily submit a few articles to sites like Ezine Articles or Go Articles, but you may not get as many backlinks. The other thing about Unique Article Wizard, the thing I want to make ABSOLUTELY clear, is it’s not an end all be all for link building. For a link building strategy to be successful, you need to partake in a variety of methods: press release distribution, directory submission, blog commenting, forum commenting, image alt text, link bait, AND article marketing. Article Marketing may quickly get you to the top spot for a long tail keyword, but for competitive keywords and niches, it’s only going to nudge you a few pages. What article marketing and Unique Article Wizard CAN do, though, is push you to the top if you’re ALMOST there – maybe a few links behind your competitor. Your competitor will have to work extra hard trying to find new links, not knowing that a few articles are all it took to get you thousands of links and to the top of the rankings.

I’m Not A Writer. How Will Unique Article Wizard Work For Me? This is where I tell you to outsource. I, in fact, outsource the writing portion of my article marketing tactics for a few of my affiliate sites that would take me hours of research for one 500 word article. For subjects I’m passionate or knowledgeable about, I can knock out a few articles a day, but there are a variety of places to find credible writers at. Check out a site like FreelanceSwitch or FreelanceWriting for writers that know their stuff – you may pay a bit more, but the quality of the article will be a lot higher. There are a lot of article marketing services that claim they provide quality articles at $3 per article, but I’ve found that you do often get what you pay for.

About the Author:

One of the most effective methods of generating traffic to your website is writing articles and submitting them to the article publishers. The efforts of the next few days may not drive any real traffic to your website but writing articles and submitting them will serve you well in the future and it is in your best interest to use this technique to your advantage. While you may not think you have any writing talent, you are probably incorrect. You may not be the next John Grisham, but you can effectively write about your website and products that you sell. Of course you need to know the rules for writing articles effectively. The number one rule is that the headline or title HAS To contain keywords pertaining to your website or product. This will be the determining factor when E-zine publishers or website owners decide if they want to publish your article. This is because they are aware of how much importance the search engines place on keywords in searches.

* Note: Search engines are used by people looking for information or products on the internet. They type “key words” in the search box and click submit. An example might be “planting tomatoes” or “growing tomatoes”. What the search engine returns is based on whatever key words were entered into the search box.

The other thing about the title or headline of your article is that it must be attention getting. You cant just title your article Fish Bait. You have to make your title interesting enough to entice the reader to keep reading. Fish Bait that Works…that isn’t very good either. How about, Fish Bait from Heaven or The Fish Bait the Fish Cant Resist? Either of those titles would entice the person who was looking for information about fish bait to keep reading.

The next most important words are in the first line of the first paragraph of your article. People surfing the internet today have terribly short attention span and mostly skim for information unless it is information that they think is going to solve a problem, make life better for them or serve a need. As you can see, the title and first line are bait and hook used to encourage a reader to continue on and read to the end of the article. Again, the first line must contain the key words and grab attention. “The women were hanging all over my car looking at all the neat gadgets I had”. If you were looking for attention from women, you would keep reading.

The article banks want short articles. Brief, in fact! The longest an article should be is 400 words but closer to 300 is better. You can get carried away and end up with an article that is 1000 words or more when discussing a subject in which you are interested and know a lot about. If you wind up with a long wordy article just break it down into three or four short articles.

Keep in mind that short attention span we discussed earlier and use short sentences and paragraphs. And don’t use big words or run-on sentences. Make your article pleasing to the eye and it will be read.

Excess punctuation shows a lack of respect for the reader. Especially exclamation points – one can be used to show excitement or importance but any more are just plain rude.

The resource box at the end of your article is the most important part to you. E-zine publishers or website owners who download and reproduce your article are required to include your resource box. For best results this box must contain your full name, contact information and, above all, a link to your website. This link is what is going to help increase traffic for you.

Warning! Do NOT word-wrap your url! It must be typed out in full, http://www.whatever.com. Not all E-zine editors send out their newsletters and E-zines using email programs that support word-wrapped links so it is possible to ruin your own purpose by word-wrapping your website url.

Submitting Articles: Once you have found article banks and article repositories on the Internet by simple doing a search using your favorite search engine it is time to submit your articles. Every site has their own guidelines for accepting articles which you must follow or risk rejection.

Software is available for use in automatically submitting articles to the article repositories and banks. The problem here is that most of the larger, more effective repositories and banks will not publish automated submissions. So even though this software can save time when submitting to smaller sites, this doesn’t help much with the bigger more well known sites.

Submitting articles can be time consuming and boring, but it is work that will provide a lot of targeted traffic to your site. Every person who reads an article you’ve written is also exposed to your URL. If they like the article because it provides good information for them, they will visit your site. Once there, they may buy something you are selling or maybe opt-in for your mailing list… or possibly even do both. There are services available to submit your articles for you. You do have to pay for this service.

Another solution which I use is Unique Article Wizard. UAW submits unique articles to hundreds of article publishers at the click of a mouse. Spend a couple hours writing your article, click Publish and watch the traffic grow to your site.

The benefit to anyone in business today is that it is easier than ever to tap into this new stream and distribute information about your website or product.

This is good news for anyone trying to promote a new product, service, website or blog. But how do you get noticed? When I started out in Internet marketing, I thought it was all about writing a fantastic release and having it distributed across the web. And even today, that still holds true. However, when using press releases for SEO value, the key is simply to write a good release that helps build back links to your website or blog.

There are a couple press release services out there, much like article directories, where you can submit your releases for free. Some also let you include a link back to your website – the most important aspect of your release. Unlike article directories many of these sites are not free but you can still find a few that are.

When I need to build a ton of back links to my website quickly, I always gravitate toward online press releases. You can implement this today. Do a Google search for free press releases and look at the top 10 results. You will find many that do not charge. Be mindful though that a lot of these sites do not let you include a link unless you are going to pay a fee.

I am comfortable with fees as long as I’m seeing the value. Some sites charge $300 for a release service but many more charge only a few dollars. The reality is that it doesn’t take much to put your SEO efforts into over drive using press release services. Do some research online and start sending out those releases. You will be pleasantly surprised by the results you get.

About the Author:

A lot of beginning copywriters start out by applying their skills to writing for the Internet. You must keep in mind, however, that there are some key differences between writing for the Internet and how one would work with an offline audience. Keep these ‘golden rules’ in mind while you write and you will achieve great success in your Internet writing.

There are three crucial differences between traditional publishing and writing for the Internet:

Audience

Format

Lifespan

You must take each of these differences into consideration when writing for the Internet.

Audience

Any writer must consider their audience. But audience consideration is even more important when writing for the Internet. The basics won’t change (like identifying who your primary target audience will be, for example), but there are some huge differences in other areas.

First of all, your audience is somewhat guaranteed in a traditional publication. Most people, once they have bought a magazine or newspaper are likely to at least give each page a cursory read before setting the item aside. Not so online. When writing for the Internet you must always keep in mind your reader can leave as easily as a click of the mouse. People don’t have a lot of time to waste so you must remain on target and highly focused at all times. As the writer, if you do not appear to be delivering good content the reader will simply go elsewhere… fast. Please do not take this to mean you must cater to the lowest common denominator; you don’t. Your audience is not stupid. But you do need to know your targeted audience and how to deliver for their wants and desires.

Format

Something else to think about when writing on the Internet is to consider the “skimmers”; readers who breeze through your copy without reading the whole thing. So what you have to do is be very clear in your writing. For example, headlines that pack a punch, carefully worded subheadings, and introductions and conclusions that are solid and full of good content.

An error that new writers might make, is trying to make their articles look like text in a magazine article or a book. However, writing on the Internet has big differences. A reader will actually read the Internet differently from ‘physical pages’, so different techniques are needed. ‘Point of entry’ is one of the most important. A search engine can send a reader to the middle or even the end of your document. If you have written accurate and concise content however, a reader and yes, even the ’skimmers’ could likely go back to the beginning of your article to read it entirely. There is a way to skip this step though, and that is by splitting up your text into several stand-alone pieces that will fit together as a complete article, or separate documents if looked at the same way. (A good example of this? Did you see how I broke this article into individual stand-alone segments?)

Lifespan

Finally, an important difference between traditional publications and writing for the Internet is lifespan. While the apparent lifespan of many electronic documents appears to be short-lived, this is simply not true. In fact, I would argue the exact opposite is more the reality. Newspaper and magazine articles in print are only current for a day, week or the month of their publication, but then are archived on the Internet where they may frequently reside for years. So while it is important as a writer to be fresh and current, also keep in mind that your reader may access your words at some undetermined point in the future. (In other words, try not to be too topical. You may severely date your article in the process.)

Keep these three key points — audience, format, and lifespan — in mind when writing for the Internet and I promise you will achieve greater writing success.

About the Author:

Developing a small publishing empire is easier than it has ever been. If you like to write (or even if you don’t), you can do this!

1. Write a book. Tried and true. You can become a published author or self-publish. If you have a good idea and time to do the work (don’t underestimate either), it’s possible to see your name on a published book within the next 90 days.

2. Start a blog. This is a well-known idea, but to use it best, you must 1.) post often, 2.) have a theme. Like writing a book, you should have a central concept, but with a blog you can be more creative and even more conversational.

Know that if you start a blog it’s an on-going process (unlike publishing a book). You must work at it several times a week if not daily. With a book, you publish and then you market. With a blog you can publish daily and use it to market any of your other empire items.

3. Get a website. While websites used to be just for using as an electronic business card or to sell an item, they are part of the overall publishing process. Update your site often, blend it with your blog and other items to your site and keep your site interesting.

4. Ebooks. You’ve surely run into them all over the web. Why? Because ebooks work! They are terrific ventures to use to test the interest before you decide to publish a print book. You can see if it sells on your website before you delve into publishing a book.

5. Write an ezine. An ezine is basically an online newsletter that is sent out to people. They are very easy to start and publish. Many programs out there (such as constantcontact.com) can help you put together an attractive newsletter, manage your subscriber lists, etc. Ezines should be done around your platform, but you can add other things, too.

6. Booklets. These are little mini books that contain up to about 30 pages of content. They are not as expansive as books or even ebooks, but they are cheaper, too and easier to produce. You can develop an ebooklet quickly and post it for sale on your website. Also, market it in your blog and ezine. Booklets can be introductions to your books and ebooks to give readers sampling of what you offer.

7. Develop your social networking. Get a Facebook page. Get on Twitter and tweet. Get on LinkedIn. There are numerous social networking sites out there and the key isn’t to be involved in everything. That (in my opinion) just takes away from your key focus and scatters your energy. Pick two or three that you feel work for you and stay current on each. Promote all your offerings (website, books, ebooks, booklets, blogs, ezines, etc.) on your social networking sites.

Do all of these and you’re now a mini-publishing mogul with an empire of your own!

About the Author:

Today’s job market is well literally — a mess! I advise everyone to have another source of income — and an online business is just the ticket for a lot of people. There is little you need to initially invest and you can stand to make a lot of money if you know what you are doing. Especially if you spend as little as possible on your marketing.

Here are some ideas for recession proof marketing. Even if you have just started your business or you are seasoned pro — everyone wants to spend less money on their marketing and still see tangible results.

1. Start Writing Articles

The easiest, proven, zero cost yet all-time effective online marketing strategy out there is article marketing. Talk to any successful online entrepreneur and they will tell you the same. Get started by writing one article every other week.

2. Start A Blog

Search engines like Google love blog articles! Why? Well they attract more natural and organic traffic to your site then any other content method. I suggest building a Wordpress blog because of the easy-to-use interface and large community of Wordpress bloggers.

3. Start Building Relationships

I really like building new relationships at internet conferences and workshops –but they cost a ton! What happened to the old days when these things were free and they just sold you at the back of the room :-) Well, that’s why now I have started using social marketing as the backbone for building relationships with people who I want to get to know and whose work I admire. I use Twitter and Facebook a lot. These seem to attract the most serious interaction. I also simply contact people via email. Sometimes the old school ways – work the best.

4. Don’t Buy Any Unnecessary Information

There are a ton of marketing strategies out there and I’m sure that you have heard them all. You probably see information or offers on the biggest, shiniest, newest marketing strategy that is sure to drive massive traffic to your site right? While I absolutely believe in continual education, I also believe in picking and choosing the information you need and can afford. Stop investing in every infoproduct and every “guru” that comes out, and start with proven and simple strategies like my favorite – article marketing!

5. Let Go Of High-Cost Marketing Strategies

If you are already in a few coaching programs. membership sites, or are running Google ads etc. – you may want to abandon all the tactics that are not working for you. Or that you haven’t gotten to yet. Or that are just out of your budget right now. It’s not necessary when there are cost-free solutions out there that may not work overnight — but absolutely will work for your business.

About the Author:

In the old days, aspiring authors hoped to one day have a book published, become a best-selling author, and get a fat advance when it came time for the next book. But that’s the old model.

Now you can build your own publishing empire right at your kitchen table without the help of the “big boy” publishers. This is thanks to the birth of the internet and digital printing. Companies like those have dramatically altered the playing field. Even non-writers (like many of my pals) are getting in on the action!

If you know information and can write simple articles that would be valuable to another person, then you have the potential to grow your own information-based publishing business quickly, and I’m going to explain how step-by-step.

I’ve created this basic article information publishing outline based on cost to your prospects. For example, the first product that you publish can be offered free to the client to introduce them to your information. Later you can offer this same client more products — and as they follow this infoproduct outline, the cost of each product increases and your profits grow. Best of all — all of these items can be created with articles that you have sitting on your computer’s hard drive!

Product 1 – Write a newsletter

This is a free monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly source of information centered around your niche. This is important because people will probably make a decision whether or not to buy more information from you based on the quality of information they receive for free.

Product 2 – Write a book

Believe it or not, there is not a lot of money in publishing a print book. Maybe for Harry Potter and Twilight authors or President Barack Obama, but not for most. But what a print book can still do for you is provide credibility. Don’t panic though – you can create a great book using articles.

Product 3 – Write an ebook or ecourse

Writing an ebook or course should come next in your information publishing outline, because you can always charge more for niche-specific information then traditional books. Think $15 bucks tops for a NYT bestseller and then $67 bucks for an infoproduct. We’ve all paid more for information online then we have for books on Amazon – haven’t we?

Product 4 – Home Study Program

Take your articles, audios, videos and organize them into a great multimedia home study course for your prospects. If your readers bought your lower end products, they are probably ready to learn a lot more from you and a home study course is a great way to do this. Again – you can create this system using content that you have already written. Think editing.

Product 5 – Create A Membership Program

All memberships sites or programs are based around information and content. You just are delivering it in spoon-fed doses and holding members’ hands as they move through the program. It’s a great way to learn and a great way to build a community of “fans” who are all interested in learning all that you know about your field.

Product 6 – The Weekend Workshop

Who doesn’t love live events? You get to hear and absorb massive amounts of information in a live setting where you can ask questions and understand the material. This is what many of your devoted customers and clients will want from you. More one on one connection with you. Again – all you are doing is taking your existing content and delivering it a more hands-on way. One that you can charge a great deal of money for.

*Optional Service – Coaching

As an information publisher, you can create information packed or curriculum based coaching programs for your clients. Instead of working with the clients one on one, you can group coach several clients and coach them through a series of lessons that you create.

As a back-end product, you have the option of selling a hard copy of that curriculum once you no longer provide coaching around that particular topic in your marketplace.

Finally, while you may not be able to complete and execute all of these product ideas right away – you can for sure design your product pyramid based on your niche and commit to completing some of your products within that time frame.

**Remember that if you have articles written and published on the web, you can repurpose these into any of the products in this easy article infoproduct outline.

About the Author:

The submission of articles to the article banks is a well known method of generating traffic. While you may not accomplish much in the near future by learning how to write and submit articles, knowing how can serve you for a long time and is well worth the effort of learning and using to your greatest benefit. Though you may not feel up to writing Moby Dick because you don’t have any writing ability but you are likely wrong. You can provide information about your website and your products because you know exactly what they are. All that is necessary is that you know the rules for effective article writing. Of most importance is the headline or title. This MUST have key words relating to your website and your products. The first thing that eZine publishers or other website owners look at when deciding to publish your article are the key words in the title because they know that the search engines look at those.

* Note: The search engines are the method by which people find products or information that they are looking for on the Internet. To find those products or that information, they type key words into the search boxes of the search engines. For example; they might type in fish bait or fishing lures. The results that the search engines provide are based on the key words that the searcher uses.

Your article title or headline MUST grab the reader’s attention. Simply using a title of “Making Money” probably won’t do. The title must grab the reader by the throat and not let him go. It must make the reader want to keep reading. “Making Money Online”… well, not very good either. How about “Making Money Online in Your Houseshoes” or “Making a Bundle Online Before Breakfast”. Something to capture the reader’s attention if they are interested in making money on the internet.

After the title, the next most important words in your article are in the first line. Experienced internet surfers are well known for having a short attention span and rarely read anything word for word unless it is information that they think will meet their needs, solve a problem they have or make life better for them. So…the title…and the first line become the bait and the hook that is used to lure the reader to truly read the complete article. If the first line contains the key words it must also be be attention getting. “The customers were begging for more tips after the first line!” If you were an internet marketer, wouldn’t you keep reading?

The article banks want short articles. Brief, in fact! The longest an article should be is 400 words but closer to 300 is better. You can get carried away and end up with an article that is 1000 words or more when discussing a subject in which you are interested and know a lot about. If you wind up with a long wordy article just break it down into three or four short articles.

Use short sentences and short paragraphs. Remember that short attention span that we talked about? Don’t use big words and don’t use run-on sentences. Make your article easy to read.

Excess punctuation shows a lack of respect for the reader. Especially exclamation points – one can be used to show excitement or importance but any more are just plain rude.

Your resource box at the end of the article is the part that is most important to you. Other website owners or E-zine publishers who download and reproduce your article are required to include your resource box. This box needs to contain your full name, your contact information and, most importantly, a link to your website. That link is the little thing that is going to help increase traffic for you.

Warning! Do NOT word-wrap this link! Type it out in full, http://www.whatever.com. All email programs that E-zine editors use to send out their newsletters and E-zines do not support word-wrapped links so you can defeat your own purpose by word-wrapping the link to your website.

Submitting Articles: You can find article banks and article repositories on the Internet by simple doing a search for them using your favorite search engine. When you have located them, you must submit your articles according to the guidelines that each site sets forth.

You will likely be told that you can use software that is available to automatically submit your articles to banks and repositories…and in fact, there is such software. But the problem is that most of the larger banks and repositories do not accept automatic submissions. While the software does in fact save you time when submitting to the smaller sites, it doesn’t help you much with the bigger sites.

Yes, submitting articles is time consuming and tedious (not to mention boring) work but it is work that can provide your site with a lot of targeted traffic. Each person who reads an article that you have written will also be exposed to the link to your site. If the article is good and if it provides good information, these people will visit your site. They may buy what you are selling or they may opt-in to your mailing list… or maybe they will do both. By the way, there are services that will do article submissions for you. Of course this is a paid service.

The best solution and one I use is Unique Article Wizard. UAW can submit unique articles to hundreds of eZine publishers at the push of a button. Spend a few hours creating your article, Push Submit, sit back, and watch the traffic to your site increase astronomically.

Traditional publishing and writing for the Internet differ in three crucial ways:

Audience

Format

Lifespan

These differences are important and must be taken into consideration writing for the internet.

Audience

While audience is always a key consideration for any writer, audience consideration is a primary factor when writing for the Internet. While the basic considerations of audience (who do you expect to be your primary reading audience?) remain the same there are some important differences.

The first consideration is that in an offline publication, such as a newspaper or magazine, it is almost a given that you have a captive audience. Once a person has spent the money, they are most likely at least going to give the entire publication a quick once-over before tossing it aside. You have no such luxury on the Internet. The only thing keeping your reader from moving on is one click of the mouse. You must not waste time. Stay focused and stay on target. This does not mean, however, that as a writer you must go after the ‘lowest common denominator’. Please do not consider your audience stupid. What it does mean is you need to know your audience inside out and know exactly how to deliver what they want and need.

Format

Another important point when writing for the Internet is that many online readers are what I call skimmers. They scan your copy quickly before committing themselves to reading the entire thing. It is important to write clearly and concisely. Use punchy headlines and subheadings, as well as solid introductions and conclusions, as these are key points for skimmers.

A big mistake I see in new writers is trying to look like an offline magazine article or mimic traditional print documents. There are many major differences. Writing for the Internet, by nature of the way the reader looks at a screen as opposed to physical print, requires some different strategies. One of the most important is the entry point. A search engine may deliver readers to some point in the middle or end of your document. If you have written coherent and cohesive content, then those readers may well move back to the beginning to read properly. In response to this, and the scanning readers mentioned earlier, it is best to break longer pieces into several stand-alone sections that can work together as a whole, or even as separate documents if approached in that manner. (A good example of this is how I broke this article into individual stand-alone segments.)

Lifespan

The last major difference between writing for the Internet and more ‘traditional’ publications is what I refer to as lifespan. Because the Internet operates with a very rapid nature, people often make the mistake of thinking the lifespan of online content is limited. Nothing could be further from the truth. The ‘magic’ of the Internet is that content may last for years – potentially forever – which is why many offline publications now archive their material online. But you must be careful. While your writing should always be current, you want to be wary of being too topical. This is a good way to date your material. This is not good. Your readers may be reading your words a long time off in the future and you want it to be as “fresh” as the day you wrote it.

Keep in mind the 3 Golden Keys. By concentrating on audience, format, and lifespan when writing for the Internet, you will achieve great success.

About the Author:

Many copywriters are excited about trying their hand at writing for the Internet. It is important, however, to realize there are key distinctions between the offline print audience and writing for the Internet. Keep these three ideas in mind and you will achieve success with your Internet writing.

Traditional publishing and writing for the Internet differ in three crucial ways:

Audience

Format

Lifespan

These differences are important and must be taken into consideration writing for the internet.

Audience

Audience consideration is a primary factor when writing for the Internet, just as it’s a key consideration for any writer. But while writing basics may remain the same – understanding who your primary audience is, for example – there are some major differences.

Trying to mimic traditional magazine articles or offline printed documents is a common mistake that I see in new writers. Actually there are some big differences. Because a reader will read the Internet differently from ‘physical pages’, like say in a book, writing for the Internet requires some different techniques. The entry point is one of the most important. Did you know that a search engine might send readers to a point somewhere in the middle or end of your document? Now, if you wrote concise and accurate content, readers could very well go back to the beginning of your article to read it properly. There is a way to avoid this altogether though, that will keep the ’skimmers’ skimming. Try breaking longer pieces of text into a few stand-alone sections that fit together as a whole document or even separate documents if looked at in the same manner. (This article, broken into individual stand-alone segments, serves as an example.)

Lifespan

Last, but certainly not least, an important difference you must consider when writing for the Internet is what is called “lifespan”. On the surface, due to the rapid nature of the Internet, it appears that electronic documents have a limited lifespan. But actually the opposite it true. Whereas a printed publication may only have a lifespan of a week, a month, or worse yet, a day, one thing most publications are doing now is archiving online. The beauty of the Internet is that archives may last for years, if not indefinitely. So as a writer you want to write fresh and current content, try to resist being too topical or you may date your material. Remember, potentially your readers may be accessing your words well into the future.

By keeping these three “golden keys” in mind when writing for the Internet — audience, format, and lifespan — you will find success.

About the Author:

In the old days, aspiring authors hoped to one day have a book published, become a best-selling author, and get a fat advance when it came time for the next book. But that’s the old model.

Now you can build your own publishing empire since the birth of digital printing and self-publishing businesses. In fact that has changed the whole playing field. Now you don’t need the “big boys” to establish yourself as a credible expert or profitable author. Even non-writers are getting in on the action!

If you know information and can write simple articles that would be valuable to another person, then you have the potential to grow your own information-based publishing business quickly, and I’m going to explain how step-by-step.

I’ve built this information publishing pyramid to show how you can create products and offer them for free to thousands of dollars — all from articles. As your customers follow this info pyramid, your publishing empire will grow, and your income will increase.

Product 1 – Write an ezine or newsletter.

Offer a simple one page electronic newsletter on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and center it around information in your niche. This is important to get right, because subscribers will probably decide whether or not they will want to buy from you based on the quality of the information you provide in this newsletter.

Product 2 – Write a traditional book

It may surprise you that a print book lies this early in the publishing outline, but the truth is that most people aren’t making fortunes writing books. Sure — maybe the Twilight and Harry Potter authors are, but they are exceptions. Traditional books should be used more as marketing tools, especially for folks like us who are in the information business. Think of it as a high-class calling card which adds more credibility to you and your business.

Product 3 – Write an ebook or ecourse

Once you have several articles (at least 5-10) based around one particular topic, you can create an ebook or course that you can easily charge way more for than a traditional book. Think about the last infoproduct you bought? Did you pay for it then a supermarket paperback? The answer is probably – absolutely yes! People will pay more for specialized information. That’s what an ebook or ecourse can do.

Product 4 – Home Study System

Take your articles, audios, videos and organize them into a great multimedia home study course for your prospects. If your readers bought your lower end products, they are probably ready to learn a lot more from you and a home study course is a great way to do this. Again – you can create this system using content that you have already written. Think editing.

Product 5 – Membership Program

All membership sites or programs are based around specialized information. In most programs you are giving valuable content plus providing a bit of hand-holding through learning the information. This is a great way to build a closer knit community of people who want to learn from you and want to connect with each other (depending on the type of membership program you provide). I do this in my article marketing training program Articology.

Product 6 – Live Workshops

Who doesn’t love live events? You get to hear and absorb massive amounts of information in a live setting where you can ask questions and understand the material. This is what many of your devoted customers and clients will want from you. More one on one connection with you. Again – all you are doing is taking your existing content and delivering it a more hands-on way. One that you can charge a great deal of money for.

*Optional Service – Coaching

As an information publisher, you can create information packed or curriculum based coaching programs for your clients. Instead of working with the clients one on one, you can group coach several clients and coach them through a series of lessons that you create.

Remember that you have an additional option of selling a physical copy of your home study program once you no longer offer the coaching program or you offer a new version of the program every year.

While you may not be able to complete all of these products overnight, you can absolutely get started creating your first product if you have at least 5 articles on tap.

**Remember that if you have articles written and published on the web, you can repurpose these into any of the products in this easy article infoproduct outline.

About the Author:

Today’s job market is well literally — a mess! I advise everyone to have another source of income — and an online business is just the ticket for a lot of people. There is little you need to initially invest and you can stand to make a lot of money if you know what you are doing. Especially if you spend as little as possible on your marketing.

Here are some ideas for recession proof marketing. Even if you have just started your business or you are seasoned pro — everyone wants to spend less money on their marketing and still see tangible results.

1. Start Writing Articles

The #1 marketing tactic that costs you nothing and provides the best results when you know how you do it correctly is article marketing. It does not have to take you a zillion hours to do it and it is the absolutely a time-tested, proven method that works. Ask any online millionaire! I recommend starting with one article every two weeks.

2. Build A Blog

Most webhosting companies have included the option to host a blog on your site. I highly recommend having a blog because of the ease of added fresh content to it on a regular basis. Search engines love blogs! Which means that you can attract more organic traffic to your site. I recommend building a Wordpress blog out of all the other formats because of the features and continued development of it.

3. Relationship Building

It’s important to build relationships online to grow your business. I usually like to do this by building relationships in person at conferences and networking events — but those cost big money. Not really the smartest idea during a tough economic time. Thank goodness that now we can use social media to build those relationships. I have found a lot of clients as well as JV partners via social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. I also like to talk to folks via email. Old school I know — but still effective.

4. Stop Buying Unessential Information

While I highly recommend to all of my clients that they invest in continual education, I also readily admit that it should only be information that you can afford at the time. I have invested thousands in information products, coaching programs, etc. but I also have done it during times when I could afford to do so. When I couldn’t – I didn’t. The same goes for your marketing. There are dozens of strategies you could try implementing, but many cost money (such as pay per click ads). Start with with the simplest strategies first that cost little to no money. My first recommendation is article marketing of course:-)

5. Let Go Of High-Cost Marketing Strategies

As you are searching for the “right” marketing mix for your business, no doubt you have invested in several strategies such as coaching programs, publicists, pay per click ads, etc., but now is the right time to abandon any of those tactics that just aren’t working or are too expensive to maintain. It really doesn’t make sense to keep the expense of those strategies on when there are so many low cost or cost free solutions out there that truly attract new prospects.

About the Author:

It’s a thin line that separates an amateur writer from a professional. Amateurs simply write to write. This can create loads of content, and maybe give them a feeling of satisfaction, but it accomplishes little to increase business or move a reader to action.

So what is the goal of great writing? Professional writers have one main goal in mind with their writing: to change their audience. Great writers try hard to help their audience see through different eyes, act differently, and change the way they interact with the world.

Just about anyone who’s made it past the 4th grade can slap a few words together and a complete sentence. (Need proof? Look at most blogs out there.) If you really want to have power in your writing, you have to write for impact. This is what separates educational from influential. Powerful writing can be had in three easy steps: 1) writing for a specific audience, 2) using the right medium, and 3) choosing the correct conversion.

Specific Audience

If you want to get in touch with your audience, it’s absolutely crucial you understand them. Get out of your own viewpoint, and write from their perspective. One of the first things I do with everything I write is identify my target audience. Consider things like age, gender, location, income level, purchasing habits, hobbies, talents, interests, etc.

Once I’ve nailed down the exact audience I’m trying to reach, and identified their characteristics, I craft a message specifically for them. Younger readers respond to words like revolutionary, cutting-edge, fresh, or innovative. Someone in the 60+ age category will be turned off immediately by such wording. They prefer safe, effective, and proven.

Right Location

Right medium means the location of your message. There are many different places you can publish, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. You can use magazines, newspapers, books, journals, even radio and TV. There are also blogs, websites, ezines and other online mediums, as well. Which medium you use is determined largely by your audience.

For example, let’s say I’m going after economists in an effort to influence economic policy. I wouldn’t really publish online. Material like this requires a substantial medium, such as an academic journal. In addition, a topic like this usually involves long, detailed text, not something easy to read on a computer screen.

A newspaper or magazine would not generally work in this instance either. There’s simply not enough space. However, if I am covering a topic that is short and sweet, it makes perfect sense to use newspapers.

Most people skim when they read (especially online.) But if you publish your message in a forum that is more suitable for what you reader expects, they’re much more likely to read it. You must consider the best medium for both your topic and readers.

Appropriate Conversion

The three main types of conversion are know, feel, and do. When you write a know piece, you’re seeking to inform the reader with new facts, or possible old facts arranged in a new light. You’re trying to help them learn. With a feel article, then point is to develop a strong emotional reaction from the reader. And with a do piece, you’re trying to get them to do something, to take some form of action.

An amateur, when they realize there are three forms, tries to cover all three in the same article. Big mistake. A pro will concentrate on only one outcome, because he or she knows that it will affect the other two. You should ask: How does the readers life change as a result of reading this article? What do I as the writer want to see happen to them? Do I want them to know, to feel, or to do something? Know that if you pick only one focus, and you write well, the rest will take care of itself.

To have maximum impact on your audience, you must write in a way that changes the reader. You must know who you reader is, and use the right medium to reach them. And you must pick only one conversion goal and write well. Because writing for change is the only words worth reading.

Dr Wan Hu postulates that self storage was the first commercial activity undertaken by mankind. Here’s a review of some of history’s great self storage projects.

The earliest known European cave paintings date to Aurignacian, some 35,000 years ago. The evidence suggests that they were not merely decorations of living areas, since the caves in which they have been found do not have signs of ongoing habitation. It is now thought that the paintings advertised the animals that could be safely stored in the cave. Aurochs and reindeer were particularly popular.

The world’s most ambitious self storage operator must have been King Khufu. In 2560BC he finished The Great Pyramid of Giza. It’s the only storage facility listed as one of the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World. The craftsmanship is remarkable, but the storage space a touch inefficient offering only 3 chambers. Clearly this building was intended for personal use rather than as a viable commercial operation. Customers would not have been impressed with the security as the contents of all 3 chambers were removed by thieves.

Noahs Ark offered the first mobile self storage solution. According to chapters 6-9 of the Book of Genesis, the Ark was a large vessel built by Noah, at God’s command. It saved Noah, his family, and a representation of the world’s animals from a great flood. Modern storage companies dont store animals, but fortunately Noah saw the advantage of ignoring this rule.

Many storage operators would struggle to accommodate 8,000 terracotta soldiers, 130 chariots, 520 ponies and a further 150 cavalry horses. The figures vary in height (183″195 cm – 6ft”6ft 5in), according to their role, the tallest being the generals. For Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of China it was no problem. Perhaps youthful exuberance helped; he was only 13 when construction began. And he did have 7,000 staff, so customer service must have been superb.

World War II gave the Luftwaffe their opportunity to shine in the storage of allied prisoners-of-war. They believed their purpose built state-of-the-art facility was escape proof. Foolishly the put all their bad eggs in one basket; most prisoners had impressive escape records. How could a mere camp contain Dickie Attenborough, Steve McQueen and Ives. Throw in Charles Bronson, who could dig a tunnel before lunch and you’re just asking for trouble. And that’s just what they got. A mass escape which upset Adolf terribly. Storage is all about security and this camp just didn’t deliver.

The United States Bullion Depository, commonly called Fort Knox, is a fortified vault building located near Fort Knox, Kentucky, which is used to store a large portion of United States official gold reserves and, occasionally, other precious items belonging or entrusted to the federal government. Now that makes it a pretty valuable self storage operation. Who else can claim to store $134 billion worth of goods? Well Jeremy Irons in Die Hard with a Vengeance knew that he’d make more by targeting the Federal Reserve in New York.

The British Houses of Parliament is currently used as a storage facility for politicians. Sadly the occupants of this facility are free to come and go as they please. Each Honorable Member was elected to serve their constituents and give moral leadership to the nation. Instead many appear to have feathered their own nests. Indeed they seem to have several nests all of which require lavish feathers funded by the British Taxpayer. This self storage location is in need of a deep clean and fumigation but will hopefully shine again as the mother of all storage centres.

Who’d have thought when Zog the caveman offered to store some meat for the hunter-gatherers of the Upper Palaeolithic period that self storage would endure for so long? At some point in their lives everyone needs a little storage.

Earning blogging money is possible, though it isn’t quite as easy as it might look. The first thing you need to do is look for some great blog ideas. There are so many different topics you can write about, you just need to spend some time looking for one that you can really enjoy and stick to.

How to Start

The most important factor when it comes to your chance of making money online is to base this on a solid plan that you know will work. I know that it can be very easy to get overwhelmed with new ideas, which is why coming up with a plan that you can stick to will greatly improve your chance of success.

The real reason that so many people fail at making any money from blogging is that they quickly get overwhelmed. If this is true, then please don’t give up! There are many others like you, but there are ways to get away from this feeling. I’m not an expert, but I’m just sharing a few tips that I’ve used when I’ve been in the exact same situation. I have found that documenting my journey has helped me more than anything.

I also looked for an online program that could help my mind to focus a little more, and provide me with the kind of plan that is so necessary to online success. There are loads of programs out there if you have a look, but for me the best ones always help you out when you’re stuck, give you a solid plan of action, and motivate you to meet your goals. This is great for anyone who is new to online money-making, as well as those who are a little more experienced in earning blogging money.

Making Money from Your Blogging Idea

The key to being motivated all the time is to find an idea that really inspires you. This could be a hobby or just something you’re interested in learning more about. By writing about this every week you will find your income going up all the time.

Good luck in finding some great ideas and earning some blogging money!

Dear Friend,

These days, anything from, information on various subjects to, everyday necessities and novelty materials can be found just with one single click on an internet website. It’s no surprise that people prefer to surf the WWW rather than visiting a library or a shopping complex to look for or buy what they want. More and more people are using search engines like google to help them go directly to a website that contains what they need.

The search engines have changed internet marketing strategies. Web owners do everything possible to help them get a higher ranking when it comes to using search engines. There are various tools to help the website owner rank higher, even though they may not have any of relevance to offer the visitor.

Many website owners began to use software to help their rankings but soon found this to plummet. A new method to increase their rankings became more and more necessary. This has lead to the use of SEO to help website owners generate additional traffic to their site. By using keywords you can get people to visit your site and hopefully buy what you are selling. This has lead to a lot of opportunities in the SEO arena.

The initial result from a search string can be related to a website that offers that exact same keywords. The way you spell your keywords is very important because this is how the spiders will find them on the Internet. So, spelling a keyword differently than it is used on your website can take away from your results.

To be able to use your website’s potential and list it as a top result item while searching online, you need to orient your website towards what you want to promote. If you cannot have the .com name, you can rely on optimization of keyword to help you with your search engine rankings.

You can determine yourself how may keywords to use with having to hire someone to do so. Most people advise using a 3% keyword density for your articles.

You need to put a lot of thought in your keywords and make them relevant to what you have on you website. Keywords as well as the use of them are very important. When someone is looking for a piece of furniture, and that is what you sell, be certain to list all the types you sell. That way when they do a search for a “chair”, your site will come up and they can browse. Hopefully, this will end up being a sale for you.

You also need to focus on the literature or articles you create for your online business. Make sure that they contain the necessary keyword count. Never ever sacrifice the quality of your articles just to use or stuff in keywords. Always present a detailed, literate and informative article.

Following extensive field studies Prof. Krik Semaj believes that self storage has been a thriving business for 35,000 years. This article explores the historical development of self storage.

Perhaps the most spectacular storage building is The Great Pyramid of Giza. Built with 2.3 million limestone blocks, it’s over 50 stories high. It took 3800 years before the 160m spire of Lincoln cathedral surpassed the pyramid’s height. Incredibly there are only 3 chambers in this vast structure. Builders of modern storage structures would be horrified with this poor utilisation of space. Concerns would also be expressed about security since the items in all 3 chambers were stolen.

An army of terracotta soldiers would present a challenge to some storage companies. The army included strong warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians. Everyone you need for some conquests in the afterlife. For The First Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, this was an easy storage task. Aided by 7,000 motivated staff he stored them in no time. And they remained undiscovered until 1974. An impressive security performance.

If you had to store Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn, Gordon Jackson and David McCallum, you wouldn’t put them all in the same camp would you? You’d send a couple to Colditz. But no, the German air force decided to put them all in the same place. What a mistake. Tom, Dick and Harry were being dug before you could say “more pudding Mr Goering”. Clever Mr McCallum used his socks to get rid of the dirt. And Steve McQueen was in and out of the cooler for his many escapes. Storage professionals always take care of security – it’s what the business is about.

In all it’s glorious history, self storage operatives have striven for the highest levels of honesty, integrity and professionalism. Sadly one storage centre in London has recently let the side down. What is going on in the Houses of Parliament, where British politicians are stored? This building seems to house a lot of bad eggs. Security is lapse; they can come and go as they please. Instead of offering leadership of the highest order, many appear to have their noses in the trough. Time for a cull.

This brief history illustrates the rich heritage of self storage. One in ten U.S. households now rent a self storage unit. Theres enough self storage space to completely cover 3 Manhattan Islands. And it all started in a cave in France.

What separates a beginner from the pros? Amateur writers write just to write. While this may create tons of negligible content, (or offer them private enjoyment), it does nothing to help them get noticed, increase business, or move their audience to take action.

What’s the goal of great writing? The pros focus on one thing: to move the reader to change. A good writer can help the reader to see the world through another set of eyes. To act differently. And maybe even change the way they cooperate with the world.

Getting in touch with your target audience is vital. See things from their perspective and not your point of view. Every article I write starts with identifying my target reader: What is his age? What are her hobbies and interests? Education? Income level? Purchasing habits? Etc.

Right Medium

Using the correct medium simply means where your message is being communicated. Each medium has its own pros and cons. Magazines, newspapers, journals and books. Radio and television. Or even online mediums such as websites, ezines, or blogs. No matter which medium you prefer, it’s really the audience that determines the best course of action.

For instance, if I’m writing an article on monetary policy (my intended audience might be economists), the best venue is probably an academic journal rather than an online method. Few people can stand to read long blocks of important text on a computer screen without eye fatigue.

And I probably won’t have enough space to make my case in a magazines or newspaper. Alternatively, if my content is concise, uncomplicated, and intended for a broader audience, possibly a newspaper article makes sense.

Most people skim when they read (especially online.) But if you publish your message in a forum that is more suitable for what you reader expects, they’re much more likely to read it. You must consider the best medium for both your topic and readers.

Right Conversion

The three main types of conversion are know, feel, and do. When you write a know piece, you’re seeking to inform the reader with new facts, or possible old facts arranged in a new light. You’re trying to help them learn. With a feel article, then point is to develop a strong emotional reaction from the reader. And with a do piece, you’re trying to get them to do something, to take some form of action.

Amateurs look at this and try to do all three (When they even recognize it at all.) Professionals focus on only one, because doing so affects the others. How do you want the readers life to change because they read your message? What do you want to see occur in them? Do you primarily want them to know, feel, or do something? Pick one – yes, just one – and carry it out well, and the others will take care of themselves.

If you want your message to actually have impact, you must learn to write for change. Know whom you’re writing to, use the right location to reach them, and choose the right conversion and execute it well. After all, writing that changes you is the only writing worth reading.

Recent research by Prof. Hercule dAlene suggests that self storage may be the Worlds second oldest profession. This article highlights some of the great historical self storage facilities.

The Upper Palaeolithic peoples of Central Europe are well known for their exquisite cave drawings. Fine examples exist in Lascaux, France; Cave of Altamira, Spain and Creswell Crags, UK. The eminent professors extensive studies suggest that the drawings of bison, horses and deer, informed hunter-gathering cavemen of what could be safely stored in each cave. Further research is required to validate this exciting hypothesis.

The Great Pyramid of Giza built for King Khufu in 2560BC is a spectacular early storage facility. Construction of this wonder of the Ancient World took 20 years. For over 3800 years it stood proudly as the tallest man made structure. However despite its size it only has 3 chambers. Such poor space utilisation would dismay modern self storage operators. Security would also cause concern, given that all 3 chambers were looted.

Fort Knox, perhaps understandably, takes security more seriously than the average self storage centre. It’s protected by numerous layers of physical security, alarms, video cameras, armed guards, and the Army units based at Fort Knox, including Apache helicopter gunships, the 16th Cavalry Regiment, training battalions of the United States Army Armour School, and the 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Infantry Division. Most storage operators find that CCTV, a good fence, alarm and staff vigilance will do.

It would appear that the majority of the British public would like nothing more than to see their members of Parliament incarcerated in a self storage facility. Many would like to throw away the key. But instead they are stored in the mother of all Parliaments, spending their precious hours deciding on which home should be their primary residence this week. After a productive lunch they spend the afternoon completing their expense claims. Democracy: some may pine for the days of King Khufu and Qin Shi Huang; at least you know where you are with an omnipotent ruler.

That dash through history illustrates the importance of self storage through the ages. Did you know there are over 52,000 self storage facilities in the US offering 2.2 billion square feet of space? And there’s another 7 in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Article Wizard is a Unique Articles Marketing System Blog Article. How do you get to the top of google? The answer to get to the top of the search engines question is you need to do two things. One thing to do is to optimize your on-page factors. There is plenty of information online about how to do that. It is not difficult. But, in itself, it is also not enough.

Get lots of high quality, one-way, relevant links to your site from as many other sites as possible. How do you get people to link to you? Have a fantastic product so that they just, spontaneously, want to tell others about your site. Pay them to link to you. Buy a text link, or offer an affiliate program.

Exchange links with them. Reciprocal links are clearly not worth as much as one-way links, and it is a lot of work to do this effectively. This can be time consuming. If you have time to do this it can be effective.

Provide them with fresh, unique content that adds value to their site in return for which they agree to post a link back to you. Loads of sites are constantly looking for fresh, unique content. They get this content by hunting through article directories, or by subscribing to article submission services.

So, if you send out articles to such directories, your articles will end up both on the directories themselves, and on the niche sites that pick up and use our articles. And some of these are likely to be valuable “authority”-type sites. Of course it depends on the quality of your article on who picks it up.

As you can see, this last method is the simplest and most powerful. It gives you hundreds or thousands of one way links, from niche, relevant sites, all for free. And you can write as many articles as time permits.

All you need is some way to get a different, unique, article to each of those directories and ezine publishers. Which is, of course, what the Unique Article Wizard does effectively. Click Here to order the unique article wizard today.

But don’t stop there. The main power behind this system comes when you use it regularly. Preferably once a week. Imagine getting 200 to 1800 new permanent one way links every week?

By the end of a year, you could have 15,000 or more relevant, quality, one-way links to your site! That is the power of this system. And that is why it beats every other traffic generation and SEO system there is.

Know your audience. It’s been said a million times. But, this is the most effective skill that a professional blog writer can have. Writing creative, engaging content takes time and practice. Knowing your reader does too. If you want to be a great blogger, you’ll have to make your readers want to come back. You’ll have to find your voice.

Big words will not get you anywhere. Making your blog easy to understand is a top priority. Using too many big words or a lot of tech speak can alienate you from your audience. Most people expect easy to understand reading on blogs. Try to keep your articles conversational and easy to read.

Emotional response is another priority when it comes to writing. Whatever the response may be. Make them angry, sad, happy, lonesome. Just get a response. If you stir peoples emotions chances are they will be back to your site. Stir them the right way and they may even tell their friends about your site!

When you write content or when you blog, people should be able to identify with you. Do you ever read something on the Web and find yourself nodding your head in agreement, or find yourself getting fired up and ready to take action? It’s because the words that you’ve read sparked something in you. You were able to identify with the author, at least for that little bit of time. The more a person is able to do that the more successful he or she will usually be at content writing and blog creation, and the more readers and customer he or she will ultimately get.

Another thing you’ll need to consider for effective content creation is that people can and do plagiarize. Don’t do it. There are many ways to get caught anymore, and if you do you can get in a lot of trouble. It’s also not fun to find that your content has been ripped off by someone else. If you steal from others to fill up your site or blog you’ll lose all of the credibility you would have had with your audience, too, and who wants that? It certainly won’t keep people coming back!

Be niche specific! If there’s one important rule of blogging, it’s that you must stick to niche. It’s the easiest way to get people to subscribe and to become long term readers. Gather people together under a common interest and watch your site start to blossom! If you are writing a business blog or a gossip rag, whatever the case, stay specific and your audience will stick around!

It’s also very important, whether you’re writing for content creation or for effective blogging, that you know who you’re talking to. Sure, anyone could find your blog or your site and read it, but who are your normal, common, or standard reader? What age group are they in, what do they like to do, and why are they interested in what you have to say? No matter what you’re writing, if you want people to read it and respond to it, knowing your target market and catering to it is the most important thing you can do for success.

When you approach the art of writing copy for a legal website, it is important to keep a couple of things in mind. You not only need to explain complex legal issues in a way that your average person can understand, you also need to make sure you keep the attention of your visitor. This is difficult to do considering the fleeting attention span of web users these days.

Writing for the web is unique from other types of more traditional writing.

It is imperative that you learn the art of writing good web copy if you expect positive results from your lawyer marketing.

I am going to discuss how to write better web copy. Even though writing good web copy for search engine optimization purposes is important, I want to tackle this issue from the standpoint of usability and reader engagement.

What follows are some suggestions to get you on the right path:

1. Bullet points – Web users are drawn to bullet points. Default to creating lists and bullet points for your web copy when appropriate.

2. Write as if you were having a dialogue – The power of the internet is the high level of engagement it provides. People frequent blogs and sites so that they can interact with the content. The best way to achieve this engagement is to write like you are having a conversation. Stay professional but write with your unique voice.

3. Don’t write with industry buzzwords – Stay away from legalese. People need to be able to engage with and understand what you are writing. If you don’t achieve this with your web copy, then users will quickly leave your site. It is important to write in a way that conveys your points, but stays simple enough for others to understand.

4. Use graphics and photos when appropriate – People respond well to graphics and photos. They are drawn to them on the page. Photos can set an emotional mood and make the page more interesting.

If you utilize some of the points above you will see a better engagement with your website or blog, helping your lawyer marketing efforts.

Travel has been a passion of mine for a long time, thanks to a lot of good fortune and an ideal career. My career was in IT and working for an international firm, I was required to visit many different countries. My first international posting was a one week stint in Thailand. It was short, fast, jam packed busy, but wow! What an eye opener. I ended up taking a few days off so I could have an extra look around Bangkok. It was during this brief time in Thailand that I caught the bug, I was hooked on travel.

I ended up seeing the world during that job, I was very lucky. I had long projects in Africa, Europe and Asia. And the mileage points I accrued during these travels funded my personal travel experiences for years later. Truly I’ve been blessed.

In my youth, quite often I lacked foresight. I failed to do the things I should have to make life better as I went along. Not so with my travel experiences. I always remembered to pack my cameras, a travel diary and a pen. Travel became the inspiration for my art. Now I have a wondrous array of photos adorning my walls and literature packing my bookshelves. All remind me of the wonderful experiences I’ve had and the tremendous personal growth that resulted.

I’ve changed as a person from my journeys. My mind has been opened to the wondrous array of diversity, which the world has to offer. I am now a more accepting, calm, tolerant person. I understand different is nothing to fear, or be suspicious of, its just different. It is there to be learned about, understood and enjoyed.

I also see that in being accepting of the people who shared their lives with me, my heart has been opened as much as my mind. In accepting these people for their differences, embracing their differences and enjoying what they had to offer me, I have a greater capacity for love, tolerance and life.

I know I have grown as a person as I traveled. I know I will keep doing so, so long as I continue to travel. However I also know that there are many, many people who do not have the opportunity or luxury to see the world as I have. That is why I publish the things I have written, my insights, my lessons and experiences. Hopefully others, not as fortunate as I, can at least share some of the joys of travel through reading.

It is in this way that the travels which have been so good for my soul, may also be good for the world.

There’s a lot of debate about how to get website traffic in an effective manner. Some purists will say that all you need to do is write good content and the visitors and backlinks will follow. To a large degree this is correct, but your website will never perform well as an island. There needs to be some way of forcing people to notice your site without having to rely on the “kindness of strangers” recommending your site to other via word of mouth, hyperlinks and perhaps even email.

So if article marketing is a good way to get traffic, what are the myths and truths? Many people claim that article marketing is one of the best long-term ways to get traffic to your sites. So let us get to the myths.

There is a limit to how much referral traffic you’re going to get from articles you submitted for publication on sites not your own. That is because the majority of traffic that comes to most webmasters’ sites come from the search engines.

An article that is “spun” so as to appear to be unique in the search engines’ eyes does a good job of seeming unique and getting indexed, but conversion rates are lost in the process. After all if good content is what’s needed to make sales and convert visitors into buyers, then what good is there to creating duplicate copies of articles or even rewritten articles that sound somewhat readable but do an inferior job of converting the readers into buyers?

If you read a review on Unique Article Wizard you’ll see that many people that are using the service are making a few sales from each article submitted and syndicated. However, if these services are getting your articles syndicated on hundreds and even thousands of sites and you only made a couple of sales, what’s that tell you about the effectiveness of your article submitted to 1192 sites?

It makes sense to go and focus on getting more search engines traffic, not just referral traffic from article marketing. The majority of your website traffic most likely comes from natural searches from the search engines, and you can look at your site statistics right now and you’ll see this is true almost all the time.

These are the facts that many people don’t seem to want to accept but they’re true and you can verify this truth by checking your cpanel statistics to see where the majority of your traffic comes from. It stands to reason that while article marketing and syndication is good for making sales, it’s best used as a method for generating backlinks to help increase your rankings in the SERPs.

Is there a way to increase your website traffic without having to write and spin dozens or hundreds of articles? Yes, there are services like that LinkVana will merely build links back to your site is an effective manner that saves you time and doesn’t require that you write a whole slew of 250-word or 300-word articles.

We live in a world of flaccid me-too medical marketing, where doctors and corporate health care systems trade bragging rights over the latest amazing treatment or device. A world where TV and radio stations are more than happy to empty your wallet running ineffectual medical marketing that leaves ordinary people (you know, those people youd like to get as new patients) unconvinced. Or even worse, apathetic.

Are you searching for new ways to take your medical marketing materials to a new level? Maybe even prove to your administration that advertising really works? Incorporating a few ideas from late night infomercials might be just what you need. I’m not suggesting your healthcare system or medical practice start making commercials with giant flashing phone numbers and an announcer shouting “Call collect! Call direct!”. But if you want your next healthcare organization marketing plan to deliver results, it won’t hurt to take a few hints from marketers who live and die by results.

Time for a little truth telling: none of these tips are the holy grail of marketing. If you’re a student of marketing, it’s certain you’re aware of most, and maybe all of them. They are fundamental in many ways. But that’s what you do when your game is off — you go back and study the fundamentals. Take a look at these tips, and think about how you could use them to make your medical marketing more effective.

First of all, your patients only listen to one station: WIIFM. If you want new patients to pay attention and respond to your message, you’ve got to play it on their favorite station, WIIFM – What’s In It For Me. You’ve got to showcase the main advantage of your medical practice or healthcare system quickly, and just as quickly explain why it matters to them.

More You, Less We. Reduce the ‘WE’ (as in “WE now offer Cyborg Knife Gamma-Ray Surgery, the most cutting-edge surgery known to modern man.”) and replace it with more ‘YOU’ (as in “YOU will have a smaller incision, less pain, and a speedier recovery with Advanced Cyborg Knife Gamma-Ray Surgery.”). When you get people to picture how your health care system will make their life better, you’re well on your way to having a patient for life.

Words Matter. Keep your unique selling point short and powerful, use words that are easy for ordinary people to swallow. Then repeat as much as necessary for maximum results. This tip by itself will help you stand out from other health care marketers.

Use the Undeniable Force of a Dramatic Demonstration. This is a technique you see over and over again in DRTV and infomercials – a man soaking up a whole bottle of soda with a a high tech shammy, a formerly horrible golfer who can now drive a golf ball 300 yards, even the before and after pictures for weight loss products. The power of a dramatic demonstration cannot be overstated.

If Advanced Cyborg Knife Gamma-Ray Surgery results in a smaller incision and a virtually unnoticeable scar – show people how insignificant the scar will be. If it helps patients get back to their normal life quicker, show a patient on the golf course only a few days after surgery. Every Direct Marketer understands this simple fact: In the battle for mindshare, a dramatic demonstration is your secret weapon. It’s human nature.

In future articles I’ll share more Direct Response tips you can use to beef up your healthcare organization marketing plan. Right now I’ll leave you with a critical one: Don’t forget to tell people how you want them to respond – they’re going to want to respond, and you need to make it easy for them. If you want them to call and sign up for a free guide, or a no obligation health screening, tell them, and make sure they can read your phone number! Don’t try and hide it – make it easy to read, and leave it on screen long enough for Grandpa to walk to his desk, get a pencil and write it down. You know how you want people to respond to your advertising – make sure you they know. You’ve worked hard to make medical marketing materials with real impact, don’t lose it in the inches here.

Copywriters need to modify their punctuation (slightly) for an online audience. That’s because computer screens are harder to read than printed pages (due to their lower resolution and flicker).

Use these three tips to make sure readers understand the meaning of your online content:

1. Use Punctuation Sparingly: Punctuation marks help organise ideas and control the flow of sentences. But they easily get lost on-screen because they’re small.

That’s the reason why you should use punctuation sparingly online. Some tricks include using short sentences and short paragraphs. Arrange information into lists if possible. Ask yourself, “Can I get away without this punctuation?”

2. Don’t Use Semi Colons: I recommend you avoid using semi colons in online copywriting, because they are easily mistaken for colons.

According to the grammar books, the correct usage of a semi colon is to join two independent clauses into a compound sentence. E.g. “It’s nearly midnight; the restaurants will probably be closed.”

On the web you’re better off using a period (full stop) or an em-dash (long hyphen). For example: “It’s nearly midnight. The restaurants will probably be closed.” or “It’s nearly midnight ? the restaurants will probably be closed.”

Also, it’s better to use em-dashes instead of hyphens in website copy. Hyphens are small. So they can more easily be overlooked than longer em-dashes.

3. Check Your Copy Offline: To make the best impression on your website visitors, your website copy must be free of grammatical and spelling errors. Typos and poor English can easily turn customers away.

So make sure you run your content through a spell checker before you upload it to your website. Then print it out and get a colleague or friend to proof read it. Once it’s live, you should check the content again on-screen.

There are a lot of people out there that want to make money online. Many people will start off with affiliate marketing, as it is the cheapest way, as you do not have to invest in a product to sell such as being a Ebay power seller.

Now you should figure out that you must have links pointing to your site to get it ranked. These are called back links, and they can be hard to come by for the beginner. There are a variety of methods that you can do this though that are not that hard or time consuming.

When it comes to getting legit links I have fount that article directory submissions is the easiest and most effective way. There are lots of different article directories that you can submit your articles to, and they will gladly give you a link back to your site for some quality content.

What article directories allow you to do is get your back link out there, and most of them are do-follow, which means that the big G search engine will give you credit for that link. So if you have a really long keyword you are trying to rank for, you can anchor it in the article you are submitting to the article directory.

Besides getting the links and the traffic, you could also use an article directory to promote an affiliate product. You could write a review on it and point out all of the pros and cons of the product, increasing the chances of you making a sale.

There are a handful of article directories that are out there that have a tremendous amount of authority. Some of these are Article Dashboard, Go Articles, and Ezine Power Publisher, along with many others.

The most popular of those big directories would be Ezine Articles. The main reason is the quality of articles that they have there, and they review every submission manually before posting the article. It is also a great website to get outstanding information on almost any subject.

Article directories can be very valuable if you submit to them right. Just be very careful and be sure that you are submitting quality stuff to them, and you will get rewarded with not only some good keyword rich back links, but also some targeted traffic.

The essence of grammar and punctuation is to facilitate communication. This is as true on the web as it is in print. But due to their lower resolution and flicker, computer screens are harder to read than printed pages. So some punctuation should be modified to increase readability online.

Here are three tips to help online readers better understand the meaning of your website copy:

1. Use Minimal Punctuation: Punctuation marks control the flow of sentences and help organise ideas. But because they’re so tiny they can easily get lost on-screen.

So I recommend using punctuation in moderation online. Format information into lists if possible. Use short sentences and short paragraphs.

2. Lose the Semi Colons: Don’t use semi colons when writing website content. They’re too easily mistaken for colons. (And most people don?t understand them anyway.)

According to the grammar books, the correct usage of a semi colon is to join two independent clauses into a compound sentence. E.g. “It’s nearly midnight; the restaurants will probably be closed.”

In online writing you are better off using a period (full stop) or an em-dash (long hyphen). For example: “It’s nearly midnight. The restaurants will probably be closed.” Or “It’s nearly midnight ? the restaurants will probably be closed.”

3. Check Your Copy Offline: To make the best impression on your website visitors, your website copy must be free of grammatical and spelling errors. Typographical errors and poor English can easily turn off potential customers.

So make sure you do a spell check of your copy in a word processor before you upload it to your website. It’s also a good idea to print it out and get a colleague to proof read it. Once the content is live, you should check it again on-screen.

For some families, it is just impossible to survive on only one income; however, you do not have to. If you are interested in becoming a stay at home mom, you can do so while generating income at the same time. This can be done by acquiring the resell rights to a software program.

At any given time, there are a number of software developers and designers who are working on creating a new product. Once that product has been created, the selling process should begin. The problem that many software developers and designers face is that they do not know how to go about selling their products. Instead of taking the time to learn how, they rely on someone else to do the selling for them. If you think that this sounds like a commission based program, you are wrong.

Before allowing an individual, someone just like you, to sell their products, most software designers and developers require that their products be purchased. Instead of purchasing the whole product, you are purchasing the right to resell it. After that transaction has occurred, you can do just about whatever you want to the software program. This not only includes selling it, but altering it to become something more. In fact, many stay at home moms, who participate in this type of opportunity, decide to alter the software in some way. Doing so often allows them to claim the program as their own.

This selling is why this is the perfect opporunity for you and other stay at home moms. You can sell your software program at your own pace. Private adjudge resell rights are when an individual agrees to purchase the right to resell the product, often from the product?s original creator. The buyer of those resell rights is then healthy to make a profit every time they sell that product or a version of it. Many individuals have capitalized on the success of private adjudge resell rights and now you may also be healthy to.

If you were to search the internet for private adjudge resell rights offers, it is likely that you will find an unlimited number of offers and business opportunities. Most of those offers are likely to include software programs or e-books. While private adjudge resell rights exist for a wide variety of different products, some products are better known than others. In a way, some products are considered ?well kept secrets,? if you are interested in profiting from one of those secrets, you are advised to examine private adjudge articles and the resell rights that you can purchase for them.

Many of these writers enjoy writing the articles, but they do not enjoy trying to sell them. That is where the resell right opportunity develops. Instead of selling their articles to a prospective buyer, they sell their articles to someone who has the time and the knowledge needed to the make sales.

In short, the answer is everyone. You will want to target the general public, but there are groups of individuals that you should, without a doubt, target. These individuals are webmasters.

In today?s world, websites need to have interesting content, often in the form of articles. Many times, this content is used to make a website more individual friendly, but other times it is used to increase a website?s search engine ranking. Search engine ranking is important because, in a way, it determines how many internet users will be healthy to make it to the site. Depending on the type of website in question, a high search engine ranking may help a webmaster acquire more money.

There is also a chance that you are concerned with selling the content. The internet is full of duplicated content and many webmasters prefer to purchase their own unique articles, but that does not mean that you cannot give them what they want. When a freelance writer places their article resell rights up for sale, many writers are giving up ownership to those articles. In a way, those articles become yours. This means that you should be able to alter them in anyway that you see fit. The more you alter an article, bit by bit each time, the more you can sell it as unique content.
