Xocai Healthy Chocolate (MXI)? Seems Too Good, But Is It A Scam?

by Chris Gatenby

Chocolate is candy, right? Well, not necessarily. Xocai (pronounced like: sho sigh) is MXI Corp’s brand name for their line of healthy chocolate. That claim is supported by the absence of trans fats, wax, refined sugars and the presence of high levels of antioxidants as certified by Brunswick Labs, an independent testing organization. People interested in a network marketing business opportunity can sign up to distribute Xocai healthy chocolate products.

The owners and founders of MXI Corp come from a background in chocolate distribution having founded Pure De-Lite, a 300 million dollar distribution company supplying the large retailers. Investigation into the antioxidant properties of unprocessed cacao led to the formulation of the xocai chocolate. Headquartered in Reno Nevada, MXI Corp introduced their first product a few years ago and now have in excess of 50,000 distributors. They appear to be gaining sales momentum and may enter a period of explosive growth as often happens with network marketing firms once they establish themselves.

Xocai healthy chocolate is offered is cookies, chocolate squares, nuggets, omega bars, protein bars and the activ liquid. The health qualities of the chocolate stem from the high antioxidant content of specially processed cacao plus added ingredients such as Acai berry. It is notable that Xocai is rich in epicatechin which has been the subject of recent favorable scientific findings (Science Daily Article March 12, 2007). Special processing to preserve the antioxidants together with the absence of refined sugar, wax and trans fats set Xocai apart from other chocolate.

Independent Xocai distributors join the business for a $35 fee and an order for two to six cases of chocolate. The company has a binary compensation model with no flushing of group volume. The extra volume carries forward to the next period. In addition to retail profit, associates earn quick check bonuses upon adding new associates, down line building bonuses, the infinity bonus on the binary down line and executive and leadership bonuses at the higher levels. In aggregate, 50% of total commissionable sales volume is paid to the distributors.

The monthly auto ship requirement is one case of chocolate ($110) until the executive level is reached whereupon a two case monthly purchase is required. I would consider this a fairly low risk business venture since one can join the business for under $300. Most people will substitute healthy chocolate for candy or sweets that they were already buying making the auto ship easy to handle.

As far as marketing tools go, the company provides each distributor with a nice website including retail store and back office with business tools and training. The website and product brochures are of excellent quality. Those interested in pursuing international business can venture outside of the USA into Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan as of this writing.

The combination of high quality, healthful and desirable products with a fair and lucrative compensation plan make this business opportunity worthy of serious consideration in my opinion. I have sampled several of the products and enjoyed them immensely. It’s great to eat chocolate without feeling guilty about it! Customer and distributors are likely to grow attached to their monthly product shipments and that bodes well for a high retention rate and good residual income. All in all, I think MXI Corp has a compelling offering.

Select natural candy that contains no sugar. You don’t have to be diabetic to enjoy the benefits of sugarless foods. And there are a few chocolates that are organic or sweetened with honey.
